She thinks she came on the show to find love, and by that she means talking about 'love' 24/7, have all those conversations about 'love', her dates with Sean were always so boring, dry and hard to watch. Hope he could check on you? Like you are a princess or something? Clearly she's not over Sean, but there's nothing she can do about it. So what? There're plenty of man on the planet.
Why is everybody saying Ashlee is ready for marriage, I don't think so at all, she is definitely not ready even at 32. Or she is just not smart.
I believe she's a good person, but this is a game, third runnerup is quite an achievement, take advantage of it.
Sean's tweets definitely show that he thinks Ashlee is a crazy person, I find they're funny.

I agree totally. To come back at Sean with that was crossing a line. If he had said it front of the cameras, that's one thing. We all are guilty of hearing different than what's said. Just last night in talking to someone - I said or you could do it all at once. My friend heard me say or almonds. The someone and I were looking at him going HUH???? I frequently hear what I want to hear and not what's said. Add to that the emotions and whirlwind that the show is based on, in my opinion there is no excuse for bringing up something behind closed doors.

This kinda reminds me of the former unwritten rule that you weren't supposed to break: going on the show for "the wrong reasons". People used to say stuff like "how can any bach/ette feel comfortable expressing their feelings to the guy/girl, if there is a chance the guy/girl isn't really here for them". How those that were promoting careers or businesses were berated; how those that had love interests back home were condemned (remember CaseyS was sent packing on Ben's season for having an EXboyfriend?). Now we accept it as part and parcel of the Lead's Journey, that they'll have to sift through the candidates and ferret out any bad seeds.

So too with the Fantasy Suite. I'm glad they busted that baby wide open. All shows need to evolve, and so does the Bach/ette. It will be interesting to see if this causes future leads to be more forthright in the FS or more deceptive. And an offcamera he-said-she-said conflict only makes the show more raw and real. That was the most interesting WTA in years. Tierra who?

Talking about the FS reminded me of Meredith. She was supposed to go on a FD with Matthew after spending the night with Ian and apparently was crying and didn't want to go. Ian had to talk her into it and is why it was late afternoon when she went to meet with Matt.

I know it doesn't apply but shows that leads have a lot of trouble even when they know exactly who they'll end up with. I have no idea exactly what Sean said but really don't think he'd have any reason to tell Ashlee that he didn't have feelings for the other 2 (especially Catherine) when he clearly did.

I don't think people are making excuses for Sean, NV. From what I can see a lot feel like I do that the truth is something in between what he said she said. Every lead has to mislead and it's never pretty. I don't like it whether I like the lead or not but it's what you have to do. I've been known to criticize them myself when they hurt my favorite. :yes:

regarding the bolded, i think if sean really had said something close to what ashlee thought he said then he definitely would have kept her around. the fact that she was sent home sort of confirms to me that she misinterpreted whatever he said. i do feel badly for her that she was so hurt though. this show is not for the faint of heart.
