That's just giving absolution for bad behaviour. Many F3's and F2's have called the lead out for things said and done. There's a responsibility that comes with being the lead. To a degree, there's going to be a measure of leading somebody on... but sometimes that line gets crossed and a contestant wants answers. Just like Deanna being angry at Brad for saying that "saturday was going to be a good day" Did he come right out and say that he was choosing her? no... but would there be any doubt in Deanna's mind that she was going to be chosen? if a guy said that to me, I'd draw the same conclusion that she did. I think Sean said the same kinda thing to Ashlee, and knowing full well what kind of emotional trauma she'd been through in the past - he either meant it, or he's the biggest kind of jackass there is. Giving him a pass and saying that he shouldn't be called to the carpet for it, is just making excuses for him.

I think the Deanna reference was at the lcd and not the fantasy date. I just really think that what is discuss there should stay that way. Being vindictive , i mean, putting someone on the spot is not a positive response to perceive bad behavior either IMO.

ITA 100% with this. He comes across like - dare I say it - a frat boy.

But this is the definition of a fratboy courtesy of Urban (and this is the most cleaned up version I could find)-

the quintessential college-aged male usually found wearing abercrombie and fitch and poca shells while getting drunk and acting like an ass.

I don't think it describes Sean at all and I don't think it's what AshLee meant either. She fancies herself some sort of Downton Abbey lady and wanted a MAN who fit that thought framework for her to fit into the perfect ideal life and the way she sees herself. In reality, she was shocked to see Sean see having fun and playing and laughing and picking up and swinging Catherine/Lindsay around.

AshLee seems to think conversations about abandonment are what grownups do and fratboys are the ones who laugh with their SOs. It's really sad.

I have no doubt she misinterpreted whatever he said in the FS as well and then did her best to embarrass him. It's not that I think Sean is perfect by any means, but AshLee imagination doesn't line up with reality.

I wish everyone would stop being so negative. If I wanted to be realistic I'd turn off the TV and the computer and go upstairs and argue with my teenagers. I want the fantasy. I like Sean and Catherine and choose to believe they can live happily ever after. And I don't care what Sean said to AshLee, she should have talked to him about it privately. Doing what she did was just mean and vindictive. Did she think how she was hurting Catherine by saying what she said? No, she didn't care, because it's all about her -- the hallmark of a true control freak.

I agree totally. To come back at Sean with that was crossing a line. If he had said it front of the cameras, that's one thing. We all are guilty of hearing different than what's said. Just last night in talking to someone - I said or you could do it all at once. My friend heard me say or almonds. The someone and I were looking at him going HUH???? I frequently hear what I want to hear and not what's said. Add to that the emotions and whirlwind that the show is based on, in my opinion there is no excuse for bringing up something behind closed doors.

She proved this in her exit interview about "not being here for fun and laughter" but to find love. She is WAY too serious IMO. I am all for mature adult behavior but a) she has to know she was the oldest one there and yes probably 100% genuinely ready for kids and white picket fence but b) she also needs to realize the nature of this show and the atmosphere. Maybe she saw Emily's season and thought he was a different guy based on the edit he got....Add in the stress of Tierrable and I guess that is enough for anyone to crack much less a controlling woman with abandonment issues.
...Still doesn't justify her behavior on WTA when she was loved by most of America and kinda dulled the sparkle for many.

I want to see how long she milks the he done me wrong story. The longer it goes on, the more vindictive I will think she is. I just don't get the aversion to people in a relationship having fun? Sean and Lindsey and Cat have had some serious moments...particularly with Cat, did she not see those? Having been on the show and seen how much stuff is left on the editing room floor, did she not think perhaps more of the serious moments were not shown because they don't make good TV? As in everything, it is a matter of finding the balance, sadly, I don't thing AshLee has that.

Ashlee sounded like the Houston version of the "hood rat" . Look how she addressed Tierra. Something like, you wanna go at it? I'm ready. Let's go at it. She hides her rage deep within and she reminds me of the I don't get mad, I get even saying. Like a mistress who wants to break up a marriage because her affair is about to end. Using the He said She tactic is a classic move IMO . Also the, You're not ending it with me, I'm ending it with you. It regains order in her universe. She has stated her issues and even up to 32 has not gotten over it. It defines her. It also drives her. When things are good she might be ok but when things do not go her way, watch your back.

Hopefully, this headline is just to get folks to see it... and Sean will say that AshLee was not right for him and he wishes her well. And then will talk about the good stuff- the finale.
