Please. This is not about Sean finding love. (As if it ever was)... This seems more like Sean trying to land some sort of gig with a sports talk show or some sort of body building - gym type spokesman/model job. Maybe we are going to see the next new energy drink with his picture or name on it. Or some sort of protein powder drink Sean will start peddling.

No. Not my idea of romance either. None of these dates have screamed romance to me. Can you imagine having to go on that rock climbing date like Selma did, and then have to go get cleaned up and glamorous to go dine?? C'mon, Selma is young, beautiful, and looks like she's in good shape but don't tell me she wasn't sore as heck after doing the rock climbing thing. Especially as tense as she probably was, her whole body probably ached for days after that. Poor thing probably couldn't drink enough water fast enough or take enough ibuprofen after that. I would have needed a good massage, a big glass of wine to take the edge off, a bottle of ibuprofen or better yet some tylenol 3's, and a great big hot bubble bath to soak out all the aches and pains. I probably would have needed ice packs for the areas where they strapped the rope around my inner thighs and buttocks region like the did to Selma.

Note to all the ladies out there wanting to be on the show; when tptb ask you what your greatest fear is, because they will for sure sign you up to do just that if you are selected for a date - tell them you are scared to death of flowers like roses and daisies. Tell them you have a total phobia of puppies and kittens, or that your terrified of small children. Make hem believe you are frightened by shoe stores, or Coach purses and accessories. Make them understand how much you hate the smell of gold and rubies and emeralds, and how shopping for such items brings you to your knees with fear and are just overcome by total panic. Tell them a horrific story about a wine tasting trip you went on and how you don't think you will ever be able to go wine tasting again. Ever. Just brings back too painful memories, and that you. Just. Cant. Do. It.

Follow this advise and I promise you will get The. Best. Date. Ever.

Oh, and yes, it showed Tierra in her bathing suit as she was running away from someone or something screaming 'no no'. I also think that the reason its two nights of bachelor fun because there is what seems to be severe trauma in the next episode and they probably needed an extra hour to show us, the viewers, that all is ok and everyone is fine after whatever it was they did, which turns out to be the polar bear plunge type of event, and that tptb aren't the complete idiots they have made themselves out to be this season. I think whoever that was being shown shaking, which I think was Tierra, wasn't faking it. She was in serious trouble health wise and probably went to the hospital. Who knows.

Great post and I definitely do not see a lovestory with anyone. I really like Catherine, Dez, Lesley and Lindsay, but I don't see Sean falling for anyone yet. So, it makes perfect sense to me that he is using the show for self promotion.

He isn't getting any help from the editing so far. I don't think that we have even the slightest idea of what connections he has with anyone.

People complained that Ashley and Emily's seasons were boring because there were no adrenaline dates. People are complaining this season because there are too many adrenaline dates. You can't please all the people all the time, you can't please all the people some of the time, and you can't please some of the people anytime.

Sean, himself, is telling the girls it's early. He says that he's making multiple connections and having "feelings".... this is the first time that he's been in a situation where he's dating alot of women at once. He seems to be making the most of it, but there's a limit to how much/how far he can get on a group date. As far as 1 on 1s we see, maybe 20 minutes of 12+ hours of shooting.... and I don't think Sean does what I hear Jake did (which is not hang out with the girls between shots)- I think he probably takes advantage of time when the shots are being set up to interact with the girls- but we don't get much of that.

I'm glad we're not seeing too strong a connection anywhere.... last year it was pretty clear where Ben was leaning after about 2 episodes- so the only thing that could be done is milk the Courtney drama for all it was worth.

Like I already said, I'm loving the date choices this season. And I see Sean forming connections with multiple girls. I hardly ever see the love story on this show, but I see the potential for one this season. Also, if Sean is in this for the self promotion, he should be doing more things to make himself seen and constantly be in magazines. Instead he spends his time promoting his current work and hanging out with friends. Jake the Fake he ain't.

I found Sean to be very bland last season. I had a hard time believing that Sean was ready to propose to Emily, when he didn't appear to be over emotional about anything! But maybe this is just Sean. I'm getting the same type of "tepid" feelings from him, much like I did when watching Travis's season. ..... and we all know how that ended. **shrug**

Hands down best post because of the bolded. I must be one of the few that is loving this season. But man everyone hated Ashley season with a passion. There was so much drama with Bentley that people tuned out because that seemed to be what the focus was. I see the same thing happening here with Sean's season. They are focusing so much attention on Tierra that we are not seeing the relationships really develop with the other girls. I mean seriously, if we did not know that Catherine was F1, I don't think anyone would pick her as F1. I know many of my unspoiled friends just found out who she was this past episode, otherwise they had no idea who she was.

I'm in the "these people are great but this season is boring" camp.

Smart, level-headed, mature, good-natured, straight-forward people tend to make for boring reality TV.

I understand where you're coming from. Both guys seem kind of mellow and laid back and sometimes it seems as if they really aren't that into it. Some people are just not overly emotional types and I understand that since I am like that myself. It doesn't mean we are not feeling the emotion ... we just don't have the roller coaster highs and lows that some do.

For me, the difference between the two is that I never bought into Travis looking for love. There was not one single woman there during his season that I felt he was really interested in. (As it turned out, I worked with someone who had met him through her brother, who worked with Travis in the same hospital. I didn't find out until almost the end of the season and then of course I asked her what she knew. All she could tell me was that according to her brother, there had been a great increase in the number of nubile young women who required emergency treatment, but Travis just seemed the same.) We all learned after, that he did the show to pay off his student loans...and who would blame him...and that he and his F1 had an arrangement worked out. Good for him.

Sean, I would guess, is a little less pragmatic that the good Dr. I think he is a guy who is ready for love. Like you, I never bought that he was really into Emily....Not that he didn't think so, but it wasn't real. He was prime and ready and in the manipulative Bachelor bubble, with a woman who knew how to play him...and others. They were not a really good match. He got caught up in the moment and we all saw, once out, the moment was gone. I do think he is truly looking for someone and he figured, why not? It might work...it just did for Ashley and JP...and if not, he will have made some money and helped with getting his business off the ground. So far, because he seems to be going about this systematically, he has shown an interest in a few women. Because he treats everyone so well...and editing, of course...it is hard to tell who he is really into. I think the next few episodes will be telling. All of our F4 will have had their 1:1 dates and we will be able to compare. Plus, he will have gotten rid of most of the matter of time ladies. He seems pretty happy in all his post show press. Will his choice last? no idea

Only time and the real reality will tell, but this is one of the few seasons where I am actually hopeful.

I just think that Sean's slow to love. It seems like he's been around the block and experienced the initial passion burn out enough to know that he should enjoy it while it lasts but seek something deeper.

No clue if he and F1 will last. Wolf seems to think not. I'd guess that Sean is one of a few Bachelors who'd try.
