Selma would be hysterical, and the men would be lining up around the block to get a chance at her. I also suspect her quest for the spotlight is pretty strong ... Certainly stronger than the whole Muslim modesty thing. I believe that was an act. Des would be good, but she's just not that "romantic" a choice. She seems almost too normal for this kind of show.

All in all, I think the editing sucks this season and that we're really not getting a clear picture of what went on. I blame it on RS. Now that we all know who wins from the beginning, the producers are doing whatever they cn to muddy the waters.

Then Texas must have a different outlook on what those words means, as we others in the South don't take that "Bless your heart" as meaning you're an idiot at all. We take it as we feel for them. I was shocked when I heard what Texas thought when saying those words. ; ( NO knock at anybody here!

He sounded pretty sincere to me at that point in time. I don't think there was any veiled meaning. He was just feeling bad for what she's been through. Remember, at the time, it all seemed legit to him.

Kwpn12, this just cracked me up!

Sean sees Tierra's hypochondria instead of the hypothermia, he now gets the manufactured drama, and he must feel like a total goofball for drinkin' that kool-aid...

In terms of the next 'ette, what a dilemma: reported F2 is pretty ditsy/tipsy, F3 is intense and might not translate into sparkle 'n' sparks, and F4 is too much the girl next door. Selma would be like Michelle Money - fun but unpredictable. But really funny. I would watch, for sure - an antidote to insipid saccharine... But Meet the Parents would be a disaster, if it ever happened... Do I hear more support for Lesley? Does that work for TPTB?

Looking forward to more Catherine, which I think will only happen at HTDs.

As for what happens with Des, I think we have a big clue: Isn't it Des' bf shows up at the HTD and makes Sean fist-clenching mad? Maybe Sean doesn't want any competition whatsoever, and there are others who have no such known complications. I can't imagine that scene went well for Des.

Oh, I miss the days of real sleuthing...PDG and luggage screenshots... Tennis shoes coming out of a taxi... Moles and watches... Feel free to add to the list...

As for the 'Bless your heart,' I grew up in Texas and WV and have a good friend in Alabama. She can say 'BYH' and you know by the context or her tone exactly which definition of it she means.

Sean said it twice during the 2/5 show by my count. I couldn't tell which way he meant it. He's not said it at any of her previous 'accidents,' so he's either finally getting her number or the cumulative nature of them makes him sorry for her. How could he not realize she's an attention hound?
