idk. did you seen the screen shots from his 1-1 with tierra? he looks quite happy and into her. i think he's concerned about her drama but is crazy about her anyway. i don't know when he figured out his f4 though. i think he really liked selma but knew it probably wasn't going to work out with the cultural differences.

As for the others, I believe by final 4 Sean knows he's going to pick Catherine and he lets both Lesley and Ashlee go before Lindsay because he cares about them a lot and doesn't want them to have to go through that final rose mess. With Lindsay it's all physical and he doesn't feel as bad about bringing her to the RC. Of course, we'll see an edit that makes it look like it's a horse race to the end.

i wonder when he did decide it was Cat. i'm not convinced he knew by f4. sean is just so in the moment that he is falling for multiple women at once and it probably will take some real effort, and his sis, to sort out who is best for him. i could see him letting ashlee go at f3 just because he didn't want to hurt her any more than she will be.

Next bachelorette ... Lesley would be great, but not sure if she'd want to do it. AshLee would be a big bore. The girl is way too intense. Selma would be hysterical, and the men would be lining up around the block to get a chance at her. I also suspect her quest for the spotlight is pretty strong ... Certainly stronger than the whole Muslim modesty thing. I believe that was an act. Des would be good, but she's just not that "romantic" a choice. She seems almost too normal for this kind of show.

oh wow, selma would be a riot as the bach'ette. i would watch that for sure. she seems like she has quite a strong personality and is so funny but fleiss wouldn't be able to control her at all. i don't think she'd do it though with her background. they should consider her though just because she'd be so outrageous.

The producers set up a prank for Sean to play on Emily at the HTD, so I can't imagine he would cut Des for doing the same thing. He knows exactly how the producers make it seem like an awesome idea. And he pranked Des too, makes sense she's the one they chose to prank him.

There were other reasons Sean said good bye, maybe a combination of things, but I really don't think the fake boyfriend had anything to do with it. Now, if he claims in an interview that did factor into it, I will call him a total idiot. Don't play pranks on people if you can't handle them tricking you back.

I really liked Selma at first. But then it really bothered me that she wasn't true to her convictions. She says she can't kiss or it will disgrace her mother. But later she does kiss, but just as a tease. She can't kiss but she can snuggle under a blanket on essentially a bed. She can't kiss but she can run up and jump on a man (that is not her husband) and wrap her legs around him. If she truly wanted to honor her mother's wishes and not publicly disgrace her according to her religion, she wouldn't have gone on the show in the first place. She was there to enhance her modeling career. Period. JMO

Were Desiree's parents there to meet Sean during her HTD? I can't image if they couldn't make it he would hold that against her.

Most seasons there is at least one HTD that appears to go horribly wrong. I can't imagine it being Desiree's though.

As for the 'Bless your heart,' I grew up in Texas and WV and have a good friend in Alabama. She can say 'BYH' and you know by the context or her tone exactly which definition of it she means.

Sean said it twice during the 2/5 show by my count. I couldn't tell which way he meant it. He's not said it at any of her previous 'accidents,' so he's either finally getting her number or the cumulative nature of them makes him sorry for her. How could he not realize she's an attention hound?

I grew up in the South too, and while sometimes we can mean it sarcastically, It is generally an expression of empathy.

I live in the South and agree that it is used both ways - to express empathy and to patronize - it's all about tone and context

I think Sean felt very comfortable with Des. He felt that they came from very similar backgrounds and her personality is much like his. (although he found out this week that their backgrounds aren't quite as similar as he thought) She was starting to have reservations and he tried to reassure her that she didn't have anything to worry about. That might have been producer induced in that it seems that he made changes with the F4 along the way which was probably driving the producers crazy on preparing for HT dates. I think his job this week was to keep her from leaving to get her to the HT date.

It appears that Sean thinks that whoever he ends up marrying, is the person that he was destined to be with. I don't think his F1 is going to be someone that has doubts or is not as committed as he is. Possibly the questions in her mind continued and he knew it wasn't to be.

I don't think Sean's that into Lesley or Des.. he sees both of them more as friends. He wouldn't ask someone he's really interested in romantically about the drama in the house. And in TWO rose ceremonies now, Sean has called Des name last, if he's really interested in Des he just wouldn't do that.

We know that at least in the first ceremony where Des was apparently called last, it was only edited to seem that way. She actually got the rose earlier...it was caught when the screencaps were examined. However, I do agree that she fell more into the friend zone along with Lesley. While we did see him asking them about the drama in the house, I always remind myself that he could well have asked other women as well....the producers may just have decided not to show us and for some reason only showed Sean asking Lesley/Des/Ashley.
