I'm holding out, too (and yes praying!), for the editors to realize the real story.

I hope you don't mind that I snipped your post, JCRBIL, as I just wanted to respond to the bolded and my comments below are not directed towards you just thoughts on that real story.

MF is one of the creators behind the Texas Chainsaw Massacre phenom along with Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire (2000) which is the formula one precursor of this franchise(TB).
This franchise was spun out of the idea of a main character (male and then in subsequent seasons, female) and their dating journey starting from a pool of 20-30 contestants to a final selection after a succession of dates.
The tools utilized in this process to guide the cast are not tools generally utilized in real life. Besides beautiful wardrobes, travel destinations and glamour, glamour, glamour, psychological manipulation is used extensively to create drama and false realities. Then after all is said and done, we add in editing.
The smoke and mirrors that go into making this show parallel a true 70's LSD experience. The real story is seldom known by the players themselves, as they are seldom privvy to all that is done to them to get to the point that got them there.

I suppose Trista and Ashley had to fight against the grain so to speak to have the outcomes that they have had.

No, Steph Nuygen (sp) is his really good friend- and one of the people he hung out with all the time while bachelorette was airing. What it is a sign of, though, it that it would be perfectly normal for him to hang out/date/ be in love with someone Asian- all part of his world.

And yet once again, out of the machines own mouth, this is what they are hanging their season on.... So for everyone looking forward to seeing Sean in all his merit and attributes, this is what be glorified in TPTB's own words.

The only lead to 'fight against the grain' to me was Paige from Sweet Home Alabama! The show didn't even show a 'what happened' episode for them...heck, they didn't even show them together at the end of the show, that's how mad the producers were with Paige with her pick! At least she was more frank about her experience than the Bach people.

Ben should have never been the lead, but Sean seems like a typical choice the show usually goes for and seems more invested than Ben ever was.
