I keep thinking back to the promo, in the ice castle, when Catherine is telling him it's been perfect. I don't believe that they haven't made decent use of the small amount of time available- enough to whet the appetite for the next encounter. Sean does like to be the pursuer- which will probably be the demise of several girls. I don't think he sees Tierra's manipulation, even this week, because his tweet after watching Ep 4 was one word....WOW. We know it will have been edited to make it even more dramatic, but Sean's take on the Bachelor/ette is that with the amount of film there is, you real character will show through- magnified perhaps- but it's still you.

Thanks for your thoughts jcrbil-- I agree especially with the bolded. I think that her interaction with Sean is such a stark contrast in the interactions with Sean and the other girls. In fact, that might be what TPTB are trying to hide; not their relationship per se, but the fact that their interactions are more covert, hide and seek with Sean doing the chasing.

This makes sense Libby. Maybe the attraction isn't more than with the other girls just different and the difference would be such a stark contrast. If the interactions are more fleeting, maybe there is not much to show at this point and until the field is narrowed down, they won't spend as much time together. It would always leave Sean wanting to see if there could be more. Might just be the reason they end up together.

I agree, Peppermom. I think she didn't throw herself at Sean like some of the other girls. I think Sean did see something in her to the point where he has kept her until Canada and essentially getting the last 1 on 1 date before making second rounds with the other girls (Tierra got a 2on1, sort of like a 1on1).

Just from hearing interviews from Sean about Catherine, it seems like he's doing the chasing. Their relationship was kind of slower to start and Sean addressed that in an interview. And he's said that he's the type of person to take his time to get to them, where I can see why she gets a late 1on1 date. This isn't a normal situation so I can see where all the girls are coming from of having to be a bit aggressive. I don't even know if she'll be more aggressive to get to talk to Sean or if we get to see him chase her and watch the romance go from there.

He's also mentioned in an interview that Catherine isn't the type of girl he's used to dating.. something about her makes him wanting more is my guess. It seems like Desiree and Lindsay and even AshLee, all very sweet, nice, fun girls -- all have a girl next door quality about them, whereas Catherine has an edge. Take a look at her style and her kind of out there personality- it's different, but she rocks and owns it and Sean even admits her confidence is sexy to him.

Peppermom, I think you're right in that Sean is left wanting more from their interactions. IMO, this builds a lot of attraction (sexual tension) and leaves a couple anticipating any minute that they have with each other. It could also be that Sean may have listed her among her top 3 the first night but that TPTB kept putting him off with regards to a date with her. I can hear them saying: "Oh, we have a great date planned for her later...if you want we'll let you spend a little time with her while we're between takes this evening". Obviously, they are getting interaction time, we're just not privy to it!! :Biggrin:

Someone posted this article about Doug Clerget (from Emily's season) in his thread - and I found this buried at the very bottom...

He already knows who Sean chooses and says they're happy. Would he give us a hint? Of course not.

actually he posted a link on his twitter before the show started saying Catherine as the f1 so I'm pretty sure it's from RS. and also a person who saw that tweeted one of the producers hoping it was wrong and that's when they replied "don't believe everything you hear"

Quick note: spotted a comment on an IG pic that Cat and Sean were seen together and she had a ring on... mentionned it was all over the media?

They may have been seen together .. And her with a ring on .. But .. If you review SCs .. She has a ring on her left hand anyways
