If Catherine didnt have a 1 on 1 until episode 6 that doesnt bode well. At all. He must have not been taken with her the first few weeks - during all of the group dates they had. He was perhaps really falling for someone else or had 2 good prospects that for whatever reason, fell through.

We will have to see. I have seen interviews with Sean outside of The Bachelor that makes me believe that he would prefer to get to know someone a bit before really pursuing her- which I know is not how this show works. But it does elevate the group dates to more importance. I think we should wait to make judgements until we see actual interactions between them.

Also, in the "deleted scene" interview with CH, he talks about knowing folks can fall fast - his father knew that he would marry his mom when they first met- he has that mindset. I can see him having dates and thinking afterwards.... no, she's not the one. It seems that only Desiree gets a 2nd one on one before St. Croix. We know that Tierra (who up until st. Croix only had the 2 on1) and AshLee (2nd 1on1) get 1 on 1s there- and don't know about the third. We've been assuming it's Lesley since it's been so long since her 1 on 1- but we don't know for sure.

Do we know why Sarah leaves on here own?

Can someone remind me which other F1s didn't get a 1-1 date til Episode 6...either bach or bette? Especially since the seasons started lasting longer. I am shocked.

Tiger, it is interesting that Catherine purportedly did not get a 1-1 until episode 6. However, she did get one of the first impression roses and I think we all agreed that Sean seemed quite taken with her during the HTD. Further, as far as we know, she had some kind of date each week unlike AshLee and Lindsay (I think) both of whom sat out Week 2.

Thanks! This really seems odd. It's obvious to me that he wasn't into her until the very end if ever. Bummer.

In the season preview right at the beginning of the episode, when Sean and Catherine are in the ice castle, Catherine is saying, "It has been exactly what I wanted". Could he be apologizing for waiting so long to have a 1 on 1 with her, or could he be saying he had wanted to get to know her some before having a one on one? Of course that's all speculation, but whatever they were talking about at that moment she claimed was what she had wanted. We will see....

What Episode will this scene be shown in?

I believe Sean says in a VO "I could see spending the rest of my life with you!"

If he really wanted to get to know her, he'd have requested and gotten a 1-1 much earlier. No lead has ever waited til the 6th episode to solo date their F1. In fact they almost alway get an Episode 2 or 3 date with a few Episode 4s. I mean really? You are going to propose to a woman after one date when you could easily have had 2? I don't buy it. This doesn't add up to true love to me. JMHO.

I think he may have bent the rules, like Brad (Bach Can) did, by giving 1-1 time out of nowhere, or special 1-1 time after a group date.
