Kinda rude/not humorous to me..IMO but to each their own...I will trust Sean knows what he's getting himself into...I will believe he will make the right decisions and it will be an ending we all want!!I wish Sean the very best...that's the least we can do for a guy who has been nothing but genuine. He deserves this!! And to add I don't think Sean would have said yes if he didnt want to end up with somebody...I mean after all he I think wanted to end up with Emily if it was meant to be...and like he said it wasn't and GOD had other plans...

It's called having a sense of humor...making light of a ridiculous program. That's all. :Smiley: It has little if anything to do with Sean himself from my own perspective.

Ok gotcha...maybe for ONCE we will have a bachelor who takes it very very seriously???? Reality Steve did say he will be different and that could mean many things!!

I fear for him if he takes this season seriously. The machine will chew him up and spit him out. Probably the best thing to have going for him with this "venture" is a great sense of humor and adventure. This show is known for jumping the shark and trying to out distance itself each season.

I know what the board is...I was just seeing a lot of people stating what/how this season will be like with sean and i was just trying to say that maybe we should just wait and see what Sean does... Because it hasnt even started yet... (it's quite alright and you have the right to state your opinion after all I am too) ...I'll go back to just reading...

I hope they don't force him to do the producer prompted garbage they made him do on B'ette ... he looked so uncomfortable doing them ... running through the streets yelling her name, that speech to the gathering of people in the streets about love, etc. TPTB are not nice, they will do whatever they deem necessary to get the drama, cause drama sells.

IMO Sean is Jake 2. And Fleiss likes to use the same script twice. So I don't think there's anything to do other than snark this season.

Sean actually has a personality and sense of humor, Jake really had neither. He simply took on the personality/persona he thought people wanted to see. So, I personally don't see Sean as Jake 2.0. But that's JMO.

I am worried/nervous for Sean at what TPTB will do to bring drama and ratings to his season. I hope they don't totally ruin his good guy, man of faith, family loving, all american image. But being he played things so close to the vest last season, if he tries to do that this season, things could get ugly from the drama the producers will manipulate the girls to start and participate in. Again, JMO.

ETA: I'm hoping that after lower ratings on the drama filled seasons, they might allow for another love story to actually be seen. But Fleiss loves drama...even if its not what we want to see. I'm hoping we don't get a repeat of a Jake or Ben drama season.

One thing we can depend on is drama based on producer ploy. I really hope they don't play into religion, I hate things going that way.

Just because Sean is from dallas doesn't not mean Sean is in any way like Jake...I think Jake and Sean grew up in very different ways...Sean has morals and values and he's proven that...Does/did Jake have any? I'm not even judging Jake or I'm not trying to...I really dont see Sean as a "Jake"... But we might be living on two different planets.. Comparisons of Sean and Jake are OBSURD and that's all Ill say about that...
