Arie reminds me more of Ian McKee (physically) than the beefcake guys. Ian. Sigh. I remember a photo of him playing soccer, shirtless. Ahem.

Ian had a pretty muscular physique, well defined chest/pecs, was quite athletic and from what I recall he played/participated in a lot of different sports (soccer, lacrosse, windsurfing). Not so much Arie, the only pic I can recall seeing of him shirtless (not sure where I saw it, but it's probably somewhere on this board) didn't look like he spent too much time in the gym. Not surprising because a guy wouldn't develop an abundance of muscles from car racing per se, and I'm not sure what other sports he plays. Nothing wrong with that, but Ian's physique and Arie's don't have all that much in common from my recollection. I'd classify Arie as a slimmer version of Ed (much less booze intake as well probably).

IC just looked thru the SC threads for the FD/MTP and came across this SC, 'tis the only one I can find where Arie doesn't have his t-shirt on.

Actually he works out quite a bit from the sound of it - but Arie does specific workouts that will help keep him in good racing shape , not the sort of workouts to get beefy or achieve a 6 pack. (He also likes snowboarding, cycling, and hiking.)

Does anyone know what sports Sean likes to participate in. I know he played college football. I hope they can include some of his sports interests in his season.

I hope they manage to incorporate football in some way. A flag football game is a group date with the winning team getting more time with him would be a good date. I think Sean also enjoys baseball by his presence at Rangers games. I think he also played basketball growing up before choosing to focus solely on football.

There was the shot of him by the pool when emily came to pick up ryan for the first date. I thought he looked great and in shape.

I personally think that IF Arie is at the mansion filming, he's there to film a "where are they now" of some sorts to air during the season. Arie and Sean were never close in the house, so a conversation between them will be way too fake... they would use John for that if they were thinking of doing that.

And honestly, please.. Sean doesn't need Arie at all for ratings.. just look at how many followers they both have on twitter and that will explain it all!! With Arie being F2, he's still wayyyyy behind Sean in followers who was F3, and Sean wasn't even a "famous" racecar driver.... It's all in the numbers peeps!!

Remembering how they had the women play football in their gowns at Jake's M&G. At least I'm sure if they do that again, Sean won't be embarrassing himself by throwing the football like a girl the way Jake did. (no offense to girls everywhere who can throw better than Jake! )

I get followers on there who do not know me from Adam, they just pop up. I do not know what the ratings will be and do not care at this point. But I do not believe for a minute that Twitter is an indication of what it might be.

Twitter numbers are only a sole indication of twitter followers.
There are huge numbers of demographics out there that don't utilize twitter, period. Age irrelevant.

You don't agree with me, that's fine!! But I would love to see what indication some people are using to say that Arie is more popular than Sean, because if twitter is not a valid representation to you, than what is?? I would love to see the info they are using!! And if it's only because RS said that he's filming something at the Mansion, that's a pretty weak reason if you ask me!! :Smiley:
