Back to the tweet from Fleiss saying he was "proud of his girl"...

I can't help but think he is setting us up for a big Ashley epiphany/redemption at a much later stage...it's classic rom-com storyboard 101.

If Ashley is with a an F1, I'm sure they are being counseled on how just to handle the Bentley debauchle.

There is no proof that he did not kiss her or that he was kidding either. They have spent some time together, not shown sure, but no doubt. No sense calling him on it without proof.

The only way I can see Ash hanging onto her F1 is if she can honestly tell him the Bentley mess was all a producer orchestrated fake-out. That she never gave a hoot for Bentley and was just acting a la Ali crying hysterically over Jake. Crossing my fingers that's the case.

In thinking back on last night's episode it seemed like Ashley was much more her cheerful, happy self with Ames than with Constantine. This could be my imagination...don't know. It could be that she was still in a Bentley "frame of mind" with Constantine, had jet lag, etc. By the time she was with Ames, I do think that she genuinely enjoyed their time together but also felt reassured after her group date the night before that JP is there for her and not going anywhere. I think she was surprised when JP called their date the "perfect date." I could just have my rose colored JP glasses on...who knows.

TPTB are obviously demonstrating a strong emotional connection to Ash on JPs part.

I noticed that when JP was talking to Ben and somebody else, not sure who, the other two guys seemed to acknowledge JP's obvious attraction to Ashley and that he seemed jealous when the other guys talked about being with her. Not sure what it means in the long run, but I think it's safe to say that JP is truly feeling it for Ashley.

I think JP's jealousy edit is a little different than it has been in the past. In past seasons, when a guy is shown as jealous, he also comes across very macho. If you watch JP, yes he's jealous, but when he finds out others have kissed her, or when Ben gets the group date, you can see hurt on his face. He's not angry with Ashley's choice, but it does hurt him. That tells me that the jealousy is genuine, rather than competitive.

But because his jealousy is very obvious............that is so typical of a F2 edit..............NOT F1. IMO

What happened to your Ryan = F1 theory?

It is still there and something to be worked on as the sources come with more info, but I really can't see JP getting F1 considering his edit.............he's getting a physical heate F2 edit.

I agree if the edit this season is similar to last seasons edit. I don't think though that Chris L got the heat edit, Roberto was the hot one. I guess that is why I get so confused about the edit cause sometimes I feel it is really hard to compare to past seasons but I am also having a hard time making sense of the edit this time even if I'm not comparing it to any other seasons per se. I'm just trying to figure out the what the edit is telling me exclusive of the past edits. Not sure how far that is getting me though.

Ashley told Constantine that there had to be a strong physical attraction.

From the way all of the guys talked they ALL were very aware of Ashley's feelings for Bentley. JP for sure, knew that she had been crying on their 1:1 date (swollen red eyes). So the question is does she have this great epiphany that Bentley wasn't for her and that she actually had stronger feelings for someone else (maybe not at that point, but developed them later down the line). I think that ChrisH did point out that if he left you, he's not the guy for you and I do think that that realization is slowly making it's way into her conscious mind. She did not look happy when ChrisH told her Bentley was there in the previews.

I missed this post earlier but I love this idea. Watching Jillian end up with Ed was seriously as soul-crushing at this show gets IMO. I would love a redo, and Jillian and Ed's doppelgangers in terms of both physical looks and personality are perfectly cast this season to play it out right this time.

Go check the PI and VO thread. Wasted a lot of time trying to get the words to that scene. It is still "off", but hopefully you can figure out what is going on with JP, Ben and Blake there.
