You can have a natural ease in a friendship relationship and not be in love with the person.

I agree. With Bentley in the picture, I don't think Ashley thought of it as anything but friendship. But, that friendship can develop into more. Time will tell.

Ashley asked JP if he would/could pick her up (& carry her back). JP didn't initiate it to throw in anyone's face, etc. She did.
(they even fell down the first try, cause the sand was soggy with all the rain and his feet sank down)
