Boy, did they go to town on poor Reid! Of course, Wes has always been friendly with him, but is quick to point out his faults... a well as his own. Mr. Tell It Like It Is. He is not one to hold back: he may like you but still state on the air that a lot guys considered you the Ryan Park of your season. (Hmmm... foreshadowing...)

I finally broke down and listened to this, and it wasn't as overall obnoxious as I was expecting it to be. I also think that Wes is still a little upset that Reid got a MUCH better edit than he did (he talked a lot about the editing, so I bet it still bothers him), and as a result (in his opinion) their post show reception and experiences couldn't have been more opposite. Reid got Miss America, Wes got drinks thrown on him after all. Poor guy. :strings1 I kind of doubt, though, that Ryan's overall edit will come off quite as well as Reid's did; for one thing, he will be sent home before HTDs, and as of yet, I haven't really seen much of a connection with Ashley, unlike with Reid and Jill, so I have a hard time imagining how his coming back in Fiji could come across as raw and heartbreaking (or "inconclusive") as Reid's return was. It's not going to be as ridiculous as Jake's of course; I think more like Jeremy's was, where viewers just think "poor guy, she's not going to change her mind", and it will maybe help his standing to be the next lead.

I agree with you that the video is a dead end as to proving who is or isn't F1. I highly doubt Ashley S has been told anything, she's just rooting for her favorite, JP.

You can watch the entire thing now--all the sound is there. At around 19 min -- 20 min. after Kovacs says about Ben being in SD, Marissa says that Constantine and Ben are on the same page and are not what Ash needs long-term---watch Ashley S.'s face---very strange--even her throat. I agree, but I doubt Ashley walking away alone is an option. I hope she decides to date both IRL for a while. Would they both go along with that? IDK (I wouldn't!). Maybe that explains Fijiman's spoiler about having no other choice but to go with JP -- she gave them both the date option and Ben declined.

Obviously there's a wide range of interpretation to be had here. I'm not sure what to think.

Coming to this convo late, but has the translation "Came to fiji excited and left crying. She had another choice but to go with JP and that is why Ben stayed at the Westin" ~ could no other be "another"?? Just one more option...

She came to fiji excited and left crying. That doesn't sound good, if she picked JP why would she be crying?
