Of course, on twitter, Bachelor contestants constantly get tweets saying things like "you're a slut", "you are ugly and fat", etc., so asking if someone's kid is adopted is probably pretty tame, in comparison.

Also, I do think that there is a difference in saying on twitter and in saying in front of them and their child IRL, so maybe that's why there's a difference in opinion.

Oh my, well here goes. I really do not think it is anyone's right to pontificate on etiquette with another poster. If they want to ask a dam* question, it's on them. Who am I to decide what is offensive to another person? I have four adopted children...they will tell you when, where and how they were adopted. I always said that God put a little bit of my DNA in them before their birth-Mom got them so that I would recognize them as my own. People ask me all the time how I got my treasures, and I am proud to tell them. My other daughter (from my body) will tell you that they are all her "real" sisters...so IDK that kids think the same way some "so-called" adults do.

This is one of the sweetest things that I have ever read!!! Those four adopted girls sure hit the jackpot when the got you as a mother.
