That's so funny that they actually went on record and said "we wanted Roberto". Seriously, Ali had the best F2 in the history of Bachelorettes. I do think that he was their first choice, and I'm still hoping for him (against all odds).

Sorry; he married Payton Wright, a former contestant on another season, a few months ago.
I believe that Chris Lambton's show on HGTV - "Going Yard" - is no longer on the air.
It doesn't show up on their schedule now.

I meant f2 as in final two guys. i think people have used that abbreviation in that way before. If not, it's pretty common knowledge that Roberto was the final guy and not her f2, and that Chris and Peyton are married now...so, thanks?

I think Ben's season finale was filmed on Nov. 16th. Brad's finale was filmed Nov. 19th.

Alright. So on or around Sept 20th could mean a few days later, or earlier for that matter. I never base anything off of RS. He sometimes has good information, but for all we know he's basing the Sept 20th off of what we are -- The start of Ben's filming.

Even if Sept 20th isn't the exact date it's got to be close plus I believe the lead has to be there for a few days prior to the beginnng of filmimg. Given that Sean still has a commitment on the 23rd it seems unlikely they'd want to start so late in the month. I can't imagine they'd be willing to delay shooting for that reason so would think Sean would cancel if he were already signed.

But, then why would Sean tell that group that he wasn't available until December? And, it's not too impossible to believe that he might be starting on the 24th/25th, especially since that one finalized contestant said the 23rd, right?

I'm still rooting for Roberto, but I don't think this is concrete evidence, one way or the other.

Also... didn't the tweets between Sean and Graham (??) talk about sending him a shirt? Couldn't that be because he isn't able to make it out to this Lemonade Stand thing? But he's supporting it by buying a shirt?

Honestly, I don't take anything as concrete evidence either... like CP said, its not too crazy to believe they'd start filming the 24th/25th. I'll be happy when they finally make the announcement and the real sluething can begin!

Nothing's concrete, not even what he said about not being available for the other thing he was invited to. He may not want to go to Kansas for a few months for any reason, not just being TB. My point is that Fleiss wouldn't delay the start of filming that late for a charity event that has plenty of other Bach/ettes at.

Can't remember exactly but didn't Ben do some interviews in L.A. before filming started? In any case I looked it up and he was announced officially on Tues Sept 6th so we should know for sure very soon.

RS got the Sept 20th start date from the contestant's FB status update she posted on Aug 20th, where she said she had 32 days to get camera ready (he has a screenshot of it posted on his blog). He was wrong initially when he said it would start Sept 15th.

Thanks n4692u. So the last two Bachelor filming schedules were Sept 25th - Nov 19th for Brad and Sept 20th - Nov 16th for Ben. This season starting after Sept 24th would be cutting it too close for CH's commitment on Nov 16th. It's more likely the season starts closer to Sept 20th and if it's Sean he won't be at the Lemonade Stand.

ETA: my original thought for posting before getting sidetracked; I am actually looking forward to seeing Sean surprize me- if he is selected. I was not a fan of Em as Bachelorette, and WOW did she ever change my mind!

I agree Office. I am myself adopted and I am proud, not ashamed of that fact. I don't think it is rude at all.

Sorry to see some of the posts in this thread (as in, the way disagreement is being handled). My general observation:

I have the issue often on this board of feeling like someone has just crossed a line I would never cross. And it's tough to know how to handle that feeling. It is totally possible that I am being too rigid. Always worth considering.

My general advice:

If you think it is an important conversation to have, approach gently. Inquire more than state. These lines are gray, not definite, and every opinion matters. It should be completely possible to have a civil conversation about different approaches to a question.

I guess Jeremy doesn't have the high moral standards that some of y'all have. He didn't mind a bit.
