I doubt they'd even need it since there was already so much speculation that Arie was in the running. Maybe he was first choice, maybe he was third. Who knows?! Bottom line is the way the PR reads, it was his to turn down and that's how its probably going to get picked up, which makes me happy.

I like all three of the guys being discussed as possible Bachelor leads but believe that Arie has more to lose going on the show than he does to gain. WIth this press release, he's leaving on both a high note and leaving his fans wanting more.

Not yet.

I honestly think that they were all for Roberto -- and then he went and got a girlfriend. On this board, Arie was the overwhelming popular choice out of the F2-F3 for the Bachelor. However, Sean was far more popular in the "real" world. All my friends who watched the show just gushed over Sean. I think only one of them gushed over Arie. None of them perceived Sean as boring or too emotionally stunted to open up. They loved him and thought he was all around wonderful! Its no surprise to me that TPTB would choose Sean over Arie.

Now, I think they've had their mind made up for a while, and that whoever it is has already signed. All this nonsense about still deciding who to pick is just that... nonsense. Its all a ploy to keep us interested in the "off season". BP3 has been quite boring... and all the Chris drama makes me tune out ever Monday night. They have to keep us hooked somehow!

As far as the tweets between Emily O. and Sean, they all seem flirty and harmless. I'm their age, and its completely normal for guys and girls to flirt like that. Sean probably has a flirty personality. Theres nothing wrong with that at all! My husband has it and I just giggle when I see him harmlessly flirt with another girl.

If Arie was going to be doing any racing at all between start of Bachelor and end of his PR committment perhaps it was a question of insurance. It might have been too costly to insure their lead if he was in a hazardous profession and not willing to forgo all racing for that long of a period...especially when there stated to be more interest in him as a driver.

That's so funny that they actually went on record and said "we wanted Roberto". Seriously, Ali had the best F2 in the history of Bachelorettes. I do think that he was their first choice, and I'm still hoping for him (against all odds).

Last Season (Ben) was Sept 20th. and ABC's official site announcement was Sept 17th, if im not mistaken.

If its Roberto, I'm going to have to research. I never watched Ali's season and know nothing about him except that he's really hot.
