That is true, however I remember last year with Ben someone, I believe it was Graham asked him to committ to an event and he stated on twitter that he could not because he would be busy. It seems to me Sean would do the same thing.

I mentioned in Arie's thread that it could be when Sean made the commitment to Graham for the lemonade stand, he thought he would be able to. Could be he thought he was out of the running, not asked yet or at all, or that filming would start later. Who knows.... no idea

Just not sure that a commitment to the lemonade stand would be a reason to rule him out completely.

I wish they'd already let us know so we could worrying, going in circles and trying to figure out who it could be by searching for hidden meanings in all their tweets, fb messages, etc. Hugesmile

And I'm ready to have something new to sleuth... bring on the new season and finding the girls! Hugesmile

I agree that it is time for us to know something and the specualtion as to who it may be to stop so we can move on to something else. Some of us may not be happy with who it is,but at least we will finally know.

How would you feel about being the Bachelor?

Chris Bukowski: Well, I just, I would -- it would definitely be a great opportunity. I just don't think, right now, it would be the right time for me to be the Bachelor.

I think maybe in a year or two, I'd be more ready to really take on that role of really putting my heart out there and really committing to a woman and having her be my wife and starting a family with her. I just don't think right now is the right time to be the Bachelor, The Bachelor: Chris.

Pretty sure I'd skip the season or it would make me stop watching the show for good! Especially if he acted like he as on BP3! But that's JMO...

From E!: Ryan Lochte Bachelor Rumors: Olympic Gold Medalist in a "Three-Way Tie" for Reality Dating Show

Is Ryan Lochte ready to swap gold medals for red roses?

It's no secret that Lochte is interested in being the next Bachelor, but reports that have the Olympic hottie asking for $750,000 to star on the hit ABC show have been shot down. Lochte's manager Erika Wright tells us this rumor is not true.

"We have only had preliminary contact with The Bachelor," Wright says in a statement. "Absolutely no figures have been discussed and no one from Ryan's team has made any comment with regard to compensation."

But is Lochte really still interested in looking for love on-camera?

A source exclusively tells E! News that the show's producers have reached out to Lochte about being their next Bachelor. "No money has been talked about with regard to the Bachelor, but yes, he has been approached," the source says, adding, "He is open to featuring his dating life on TV."

But before you start flooding ABC studios with your audition tapes, ladies, you should know that Lochte might not be the show's first choice.

A show source tells us that in addition to Lochte, they are also seriously considering Bachelorette contestants Arie Luyendyk, Jr. and Sean Lowe, who were fan favorite during the most recent season with Emily Maynard.

"He's one of three along with Arie & Sean," our source says. "He's not the top choice. It's really a three-way tie. My guess is it won't be Lochte, but it keeps changing." We're told a decision needs to be made "soon."

Surely they wouldn't wait this long and already have confirmed contestants without having a confirmed bachelor. They could easily lose out on both Arie and Sean. Ryan Lochte would be a last minute replacement IMO.

I asked this question this morning. They had people already lined up for Bachelor 15 (Brad 2.0) before announcing formally Brad during Dancing with the Stars (right?). When did we (as a forum) find out that it was Brad? It could be that Fleiss enjoys keeping everyone in suspense about who his next lead is.

Actually I think they would. We know they don't cast 25 people specifically for the lead. They cast people who they think will make good tv so they don't need to know who the lead will be for that.

I just would love a good Bachelor season with a love story like the last several Bachelorettes have had. And there's finally a really good chance at it. Jake, Brad and Ben were all big duds for me as leads and I really only watch it now for the next Bachelorette. I love Arie, but think BOTH Arie and Sean are more appealing candidates than they've had in ages, if ever. It would be a major bummer if they pass over 2 guys who I actually would love to see as Bach, and who both seem willing, for a publicity stunt. Hope we know soon.

^^^I agree. Their goals trump the lead's unfortunately. They could always shuffle in 5 last minute extras just for the chosen one as they did for Jillian.

I wish that I could enjoy seasons in which it's all for snark or a showmance but I find that after viewing for so many years, I lose interest and stop watching if it's apparent that it's all a big joke without any hope of a relationship.

Kristy just pissed her opportunity down the drain. No way will they put her on the show now, in my opinion. Whoever the lead is will now have a tainted opinion of her. Emily was already "locked up" by production when RS revealed Ryan and Jef early. This is wayyy too early.

But I thought he was a "grown ass man". What was he doing in the F4 if he was unable to "really commit to a woman". He is beyond annoying. Emily dodged a bullet here big time if she was ever even considering him. Would have muuucccchhhh rather seen John Wolfe for a bit longer.

And I would have most definitely enjoyed seeing Wolf a little longer, instead of Chris! The whole interview about his behavior on BP3 had me no no

but when I got to the would you do the bach question...

:puke: For some reason, the producers seem to love him so they might actually consider it, but can't see how they'd think ratings would be good after all the flack he's getting now. no no
