The Bachelor 17 - Speculation/Spoilers - Discussion

I think the delay in announcing the Bachelor is getting ridiculous when you compare the timeline to last August for Ben. I wonder what the real story is and whether we'll ever know. Personally, I think it has to do with Lochte. But that's purely a guess. One faction wants him (network) and one doesnt want to have to work with him in this capacity (Fleiss.) So far no one is blinking.

She may have been being sarcastic. I guess I won't worry about it if she doesn't. Last I heard Emily has a bf and I don't see her with Sean in any case.

I actually think Sean referring to Arie as a European race car driver (or whatever he exactly said) was sort of a compliment. To me, it sounds...I don't know...sexy, appealing.

I saw it that way, too, Nutty...Arie is a sophisticated option for TB with a European flair..a cosmopolitan fellow whereas Sean is more down home. Honestly, I think he called himself All-American because that is the way that the press refers to him.

That's kind of the way I took it also - as a compliment of sorts. I don't think he meant he was a better choice for bachelor when he called himself "all American." I truly think he believes he fits that description. I would agree with the descriptions of both of them and don't find either one to be derogatory.

There is quite a stretch from being an Indy Car Lights driver and an insurance guy who played football at K-State! BTW, EMAW!

I wonder if he that means he wants Sean but the network wants Lochte as suggested up thread? Or, it could just be that he likes that the lady says his daughter is smart.

I thought they were both joking. I guess whether or not it was in good taste is a matter of personal preference. I wasn't insulted by the tweet, and I don't know what was behind it. I do recall thinking that she fits all the criteria that Sean listed in his last interview. Plus, I think he likes blondes.

Sean may like blondes but he and Kacie both tweeted at the same time last night that they were in Philadelphia.

This applies to all the above but do these people have jobs (rhetorical question but seriously). I wish I could take that much time off work.....and still have a job to come back too. I know Sean works for his family so I guess that is a perk.

They are with a bunch of other bach nation peps at Denim and Diamonds fundraiser event. There's a pic in Sean's thread of Ryan, Ty Brown, Kacie, Ed, and Jaclyn together. Craig R, Ashley S. and Scott are in pics of them out and about in Philly earlier today too. So while they are both there, not sure it means too much...yet anyway. We'll have to wait and see if anything comes of their meeting this weekend.

ETA: Personally, I don't see the Sean/Kacie being a couple thing, just can't picture it, but thats JMO... I know some here think they'd be the best couple ever. But if they hit it off and are meant to be...I wish them well! :Smiley:
