I think I'll just check in here after the show. Can't bring myself to watch, tried for 3 episodes and then quit. I must be old-fashioned but, just don't like what I see on the show.

Ben tweets that he hopes Arie is the new Bachelor, and Jef starts following Arie today. Think they know something ? I do. I think they know the announcement is imminent. It's more tidbits of evidence......

Does anyone remember how they announced Ben? Was it done at DWTS or on BP? What did they actually do? Was it live or filmed? Was it a complilation of clips from the previous show? Did they interview him? I've never seen an announcement so I'm curious how it goes.

From what I remember they announced that it would be Ben on the BP finale. BP was filmed in advance and they did interview Ben a little bit. Less than 5 minutes from what I remember.

I agree. Not that you are old fashioned, LOL--- giggling

, but that I tried watching one episode and could not do anymore. It reminded me of those gross fear factor or survivor challenges where you had to force yourself to do something disgustingly horrible in order to complete the challenge. Well, I am not a contestant in my own home(even though I might play one) and refused to go that far by subjecting myself to more BP. The challenge of me hanging in there for BP had no reward. Enough, I am over that franchise. High clap

I may be totally off my rocker but ASSUMING Arie is getting a ride and announcing that this weekend and ASSUMING he is the next Bachelor, could TPTB want to wait to announce him AFTER he has announced his sponsership/ride? I know he was promoted on B'ette as a race car driver (which he is) but he wasn't really driving at that time. If he's actually driving a car and has a sponser maybe TPTB think that is a better sell and want to ride the coattails of that to promote him?

You know, because the show always wants to be sure to accurately detail each contestent's profession. cheeky
