That would be pretty incredible if they did. Though I'd personally rather see Apolo in Gilles' spot. I think it'd be funnier if Gilles lost to both Shawn and Melissa this season.

In the Afterbuzz interview (posted in the DWTS section) Tony talked about how Melissa, Shawn and Sabrina developed such a close bond that they wanted to be in the finals with each other. You can tell how bummed Melissa is that Sabrina got eliminated. But I agree it's probably better for Melissa's chances that she did. Shawn seems to be pretty much a lock to get there again, and I really hope Melissa can get there with her. If they both do and Shawn beats her again I know Melissa would be really happy for her just as she was in season 8. If Gilles lost to Shawn again I don't know if he could get over it.

Wouldn't that be sweet!! I haven't been able to stomach watching Shawn this season (due to who she's paired with), so I've probably missed out on a lot of good dancing. Either way, I'm hoping Melissa can overtake her, although I know it's tough to do so, given the combined fanbase of Shawn & the dud(e). Still hoping it'll happen, though. I'd love a final 3 of Melissa, Apolo & Emmitt. Fat chance, I know, but a girl can dream...

Next week is double elimination, so they really need all the votes they can get! Combining the scores of two weeks actually narrows the gap in score percentages and makes it easier for fan votes to make up the gaps, so fan votes are even more important. Melissa tops the leaderboard this week but next week I think there is another team dance along with the individual dance (Trio dance) so that'll be a lot more points added to the total scores.
