Oh my gosh! Poor Melissa. Hope she's okay.

She fell in rehearsals and had to be rushed to the hospital with a head/neck injury.

Weird coincidence, the week she was injured in her original season was also during the week they did the team dances.

I just saw that too. :Frown: Really hope she's okay. She tweeted 2 hours ago about dancing first on Tuesday so I don't know if this injury has happened before or after that tweet?

Melissa Rycroft Released From Hospital After Dancing with the Stars Head Injury

Moving forward in the competition can really get to your head.

Dancing With the Stars: All Star Melissa Rycroft was sent to a Los Angeles hospital Sunday afternoon after suffering a head and neck injury during rehearsals for tomorrow night's show, E! News confirms. But before you start to worry, Rycroft's rep tells us that she has been released from the hospital.

"Melissa was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where she is currently being examined," Rycroft's rep told People. "She was accompanied to the hospital by her husband, Tye Strickland, and her dance partner, Tony Dovolani. Everyone is taking all necessary precautions at this time."

So what was the dangerous dance? Seems to have been the Tango.

The Bachelor star tweeted, "Been a long (and tough week) of Tango...but back to attack again today. Sometimes nothing motivates you like frustration..."

Those whose dances are being aired on Tuesday are actually dancing them on Monday. The whole show is being taped tomorrow and then they'll air a pre-taped show on Tuesday so that one won't be live. Voting will be open both nights. So if Melissa isn't cleared to dance tomorrow she won't be dancing.

Thats not good then. I would think they would want her to rest so soon after the injury. Plus she may not feel up to it. Such bad luck after doing so well. Fingers crossed.

I hate this When I first read it, I immediately flashed back to Kym's neck injury in season 12. I just hope it's not severe... and right before a group dance, just like last time with her ribs/punctured lung.

Sending good vibes and plenty of prayers her way for a speedy recovery. I hope she's able to dance, but I don't want her to risk her health for this show.
