Sean Lowe - Bachelorette 8 Contestant - Discussion

So I watched Sean's date and his exit this morning before going to work. Hey, that was an excellent idea on my part.

Sean,
I have been thinking about what I was going to write the morning after you didn't receive a rose from Emily for some time now. I've thought about writing my opinion on why she didn't pick you, I thought about writing a letter to Emily about how she was wrong ;), I've thought about a lot of things. But last night, after the show was over and my Facebook and Twitter blew up with people (most of whom I don't even know) telling me how awesome you are, and how proud they are of you, I thought I'd just keep this little post simple...

Sean Thomas Lowe...you are such an awesome man of God. I've always known that you carry yourself in such a respectful way...that you're kind and generous...that you have a huge heart and love unconditionally...but to see it played out on national television...to see you keep your morals and your integrity when it would have been easy not to, is why I'm so proud of you this morning. I know you loved Emily with your whole heart. I know you meant everything you said to her and that you would have made the best husband to her and father to Ricki. I know this. I also know that God has different plans for your future. I know that your wife is still out there...I know that when you meet her, you will know she's the one.

You made your entire family proud. From your 2 year old nephew to your 87 year old Southern Baptist preaching grandfather...you made us all proud. We love you and we look forward to the many new adventures in your future. "God can do anything, you know-far more than you could ever imagine or guess in your wildest dreams" -Ephesians 3:20.

Well, Shay's letter did what no other letter so far this season has - brought tears to my cynical eyes. Lovely letter, Shay.

Oh my..what a lovely tribute..a good cry in the morning never hurts.

I loved his interview, too. Thanks for posting. His well spoken honesty is so endearing.

Last night was rough!!! I have never been so torn up over a bachelor getting dumped before. Sean was absolutely blindsided, and you could see every emotion that he felt by just looking at his face. I am glad though that I at least knew beforehand that Sean was leaving.

Beautifully written by his sister. He certainly is a rare breed. The woman who ends up with him will be one lucky lady!

I thought he had moved on and looked happy. Guess not.

Did you watch the interview Pattycake92 posted? Because it's pretty clear from that that he's moved on and Chris has greatly overstated his heartbreak. It kind of reminds me of the way he kept trying to get Ashley to say how heartbroken she still was over Brad, when it couldn't have been more obvious that she was over it by the time WTA rolled around. Didn't fall for it then, not falling for it now.

Sean's feelings for Emily were more real than I previously thought they were, but his interview with Amy shows that he's really been able to put everything in healthy perspective and learn from the experience. He's so gracious and thoughtful in the interview, and it made me love him even more than last night, which I wouldn't have thought possible!

Yes, the woman he marries will be a lucky lady indeed. I'm glad that Emily realized she is not that woman and sent him back to Dallas to find her. I'm glad that Emily cared enough about Sean to not take away his chance to propose only to the woman he actually marries and not a lovely gal he dated on a reality dating show.

I loved Sean, just not for Emily. He will find the girl for him soon! I think Em and Sean were so much alike. :)
