Jp selected Arie or Jef because they are the most like him. But he is forgetting that Emily is not like Ashley (from what I can see about their personalities). Also, Sean should have been included in the 'guys who are genuine'. I've seen comments likening Sean to Brad but they are also different people, excepting some muscles. Brad has a mother who has had four husbands, Sean has parents who have been married forever. In relationships this would lead to different behaviour, different choices. JMO and thinking out loud here.

I still say this that on paper, Sean has the best resume for Emily personally.
They love Country music. (I don't see Jef liking country music but who knows?)
Sean is a no drama kind of a guy. She says she hates drama.
He is genuine and she wants somebody real.
She says he is funny and not boring.
She wants somebody dependable and loyal. He hasn't been spouting his mouth off about her with the other guys.
They have the same faith convictions and faith lifestyle.
He is great with kids as is evidenced with Shay's pics and he is not a hipster kid himself. There is no doubt he is a man's MAN.
He is constantly smiling. Who wouldn't want to be with a guy who is always cheerful?
Emily says she has butterflies with him not only in her stomach but also in her heart.
They have passionate kissing episodes. (Keep an eye out on that this week. There is a credible reason why he makes it to F2.)
And imo, not to mention they would make beautiful babies.
Obviously, according to the spoilers, he will just have to make somebody else a great husband. And the Adele song keeps getting louder and louder, Emily. "You could have had it aaallllllll...."
She's made her bed and now she gets to lie in it. Seriously, I do hope she is happy.

I agree, JR, but this seems to happen over and over again on the show. It's odd how the stated preferences and goals of the lead don't often match up when they make their choice.
On that note, anyone know about Courtney Kerr? On Sean's timeline, daily there are several posts for her and Sean to date. These folks keep saying they'd be perfect together and even send him videos of her. Wonder what her ideal man or list says? She was on a dating show on Bravo and is from Dallas.

Well said JR. She certainly could have had it all and you are spot on with your last sentence as well. I just wonder what she feels when she sees the behind the scenes stuff of all the guys. Guess that will be an eye opener to her as well.
Can't wait for the midnight rendezvous scene on monday

I agree. I often wonder how much production interferes with the journey.
Chris H says that they try to let it take it's own course but I have read too many comments from past contestants who say that things are manipulated within the Bachelor Bubble.
And I love how people want to play matchmaker for him now.
However, he said he is picky and selective and he hasn't dated for a bunch of months so I don't think he would just jump into a change in his dating style just because of the show.
For the record, I have always stated that I don't have a personal favorite in the race. I am not a fangirl .
I see good qualities in all three of her final guys. With that being said, I did see qualities in many of the guys, even Ryan. Regarding Kalon... I'm sure he has good qualities too ... somewhere... but we weren't given the time to see them on this show.
I think that being on this show gives these guys a chance to see themselves from an outsider's perspective and hopefully, learn some valuable lessons about themselves. Humility goes a long way in recognizing what needs to be worked on in our lives.
Granted, TPTB do often exaggerate an edit for entertainment purposes but still, life lessons can be learned.
ND4, I agree. They really do have a strange edit for Sean. But it may be good for him in the long run, since it is not a negative edit.
Who knows, maybe there is no negative???
