The Bachelorette: Will Sean Tell Emily 'I Love You'
They are just three little words but sometimes "I love you" is the hardest thing to say.
Just ask The Bachelorette contestant Sean Lowe, whose family made a great impression on Emily Maynard on their hometown date in Dallas.
On the next episode, the hunky insurance agent gets a little tongue-tied in Curacao.
"Sean does a million things a day to tell me that he's the one for me," Emily says in an exclusive preview of the episode, which airs Monday (8 p.m. ET) on ABC. "But I need to know more. I can't go through this and fall in love and have it not work again."
But will he do a million and one?
"The love that I'm experiencing with Emily is quite different than the love that I've had in the past," he says. "So desperately I just want to open up and tell her how I really feel which is 'I love you.' It's hard to say those words and it's always been hard."
So will he say it? "Um, so ... um... " is all he seems to manage.
"I still feel like Sean is an affectionate guy," Emily says, "but I still feel like there's something going on in his mind that he will not let himself go there."

I look at it this way. She liked him and she didn't want him to question that. She also liked Arie and Jef. I think its her way of reassuring him honestly without having to tell him something she doesn't mean. If someone had introduced her to Sean in the real world, she could have easily been very happy with him. Something about the other two captivated her. I think Jef brings some excitement to her life. I think Arie appeals to her physically and they have in common an interest in racing. When its all said and done the fact that she has to compare simple and safe Sean, as wonderful as he is, to the others, she just feels more for the others. Can't fault her for it. Can't say I agree. I really don't see it lasting with Jef but I'm glad Sean will be saved from that publicity mess. He deserves the simple life he wants, just like Chris L. got.
Does that make sense?
This makes perfect sense to me as well. I hope that Sean finds the simple life that he wants and can find someone who seems to be as good of a match for him as Peyton seems to be for Chris L. I think that Chris L got lucky, and that Peyton is the exception rather than the rule. So, I would prefer that Sean find his lady love close to home and not someone from TB alumni!!!
I will be relieved once Sean is free of this show and can begin to have a normal life again. Hopefully we will get an update sometime in the future that he is getting married. I sure hope so, because he has a lot to offer some lucky lady.
What about Sean and KacieB? I know she has been tweeting with RyGuy, but come on...she and Sean would make a great fit and she would not be his trophy.

I agree, between that article and their body language/space in the video, they are showing us why he is F3.
I was convinced after that deleted scene with his sister that Sean just isn't in love with Em, IMO. He seemed to telegraph it to Shay with his lack of words! so I am thinking he was a-ok with F3 and I am glad he didn't go so far as wrestling with a proposal. Hope I'm not wrong and hope he wasn't heartbroken in the end.

I hear ya! I knew it was coming eventually but oh my. Someone admitting that he made some mistakes in a past relationship and how it has now made him cautious is such a crime! It's amazing that practically every guy there said he's the one Emily should opt for yet we're to believe he's an egomanic or else we're fangirls. GMAB.

I think he's showing the opposite of ego and is being mature. It may not play out this way but from what I'm seeing he's just not into her enough to get on one knee, so to me it takes more guts to not play like he's gonna be crushed forever if he doesn't make it to the end. I'm thinking even the bach bubble can't shake him, and that demonstrates more character than a lot of these guys.

Since Emily followed her heart with Brad, will she now follow her head?Laurabadora14 wrote:Jodi8 wrote:Why would she have told him to "stay confident" and then not pick him?

Exactly. It makes me like him more than he didn't just propose when he knew that's what she wanted even though he knew she wasn't it for him. He very easily could have like many I know. And it takes maturity to look back on those past relationships and realize what you did wrong in order to not make the same mistakes again. Plus that relationship ended like 3+ years ago. Plenty of time for him to grow out of that supposed immaturity and be ready to find someone.

I just don't understand why Emily invited Sean to the Fantasy Suite just to talk and get into the pool. That makes no sense to me. Did Jef turn down the FS card; and, do we have SC's of Arie in the Fantasy Suite?jurystillout wrote:

This is my 1st time to post in Sean's thread. i mostly stayed in Arie's thread but from time to time i also lurked here. I like Sean and he seems like an amiable guy as seen in the TV and also post show. I don't understand why there are lots of negative postings coming out now just basing on a few seconds talk of Sean and Emily during their FD. Being honest about what transpired in his previous relationship doesn't make him less of a man he is right now. Thats probably the reason why he's being selective with his relationship because he values a lifetime commitment.

Becca! I'm sorry it's kinda rough on the other threads for you guys right now. It's been pretty tough being a Sean and Arie fan this season! Honestly, I don't get why making some mistakes in their past means something is wrong with him either. It just takes meeting the right girl. I have no doubt Sean will get there to, as well as Arie. Neither of them need this show.
