Well for one, I thought it was distasteful to offer a viewing party contest if you bought something from people water. There are numerous examples in comparison to the other F3. Just my view of it others may see differently which is quite OK.

And not out of the ordinary to do so either. It's not quite like stuffing corporate coffers either for greed...part of the People Water proceeds go to charity in bringing drinking water to those without. I personally see nothing wrong with Jef's post show actions.Cecilia wrote:Well post show is different because he is becoming an instant "celebrity" with fans and what not so he posts pics and promotes his business. He would be stupid not to.

Alittle bothersome..I agree! He was probably inundated with orders soon afterthe tweet then it was removed leaving most wondering if the contest was a go or not. Probably ABC told them to take it off but he shoukd have tweeted if it was still a go. JMO

Some of Jef's Instagrams that were posted here seemed to be of the variety of letting Emily know he was thinking about her. For instance, and I don't know if this is indeed true about Emily's celebrity fantasy, but from the airport in Dulles last week he took a picture and commented TRON on it. Someone said that her celebrity fantasy was an actor in that movie. Makes perfect sense to me with that explanation than it is to comment TRON about airport escalators, etc. for the halibut. I don't see his post show picture posting and messaging as over the top. My guess is, if the F2 and F3 were in his place, we'd "hear" more from them as well. I don't know, that's just my opinion on this and how I perceive things.

Not just for Emily for Ricki also. I don't see the other guys stepping up to the plate and being fun, with even stupid situations. They are all about Emily, and aren't saying much about Ricki. This is where Jef has taken the lead. He's asked her about Ricki, and toasted to Ricki. He is the calm that she needs. He can be fun and serious. My nephew is the same way and married a lady with 3 children. They are constantly doing things and having family outings. He saw how to be first hand from his father. My sisters husband is funny, loves to travel have fun. They have been married 40+ years. He treats my sister like a queen every day. Jef is a mold from the same character, they will fit great together and have a happy life.
Sean and Emily have spoken about Ricki in almost every episode that they have shown 1on1 time with Emily. Not sure how this is being so missed ? Oh yeah Jef is F1.
And I would like to add that I see all 3 of the guys as having a calming effect upon Emily, and I am trying to keep an open mind. I also believe that all 3 of these guys can be fun to be around and are capable of planning fun family outings that are entertaining. These are 3 very different guys from very different backgrounds. Some will have more money than others with which to plan those family outings, but the bottom line is that Arie, Jef and Sean seem like they have a calming effect on Emily and have given me the feeling that they would be fun to be around, each with their own distinct personality and sense of humor.

US is really taking an anti-Emily/negative stance, i.e. the cover about Emily's secrets, plus, an Exclusive: Bachelorette Emily Maynard "Not Speaking" to Daughter Ricki's Grandparents and this latest one below, "Bachelorette Emily "Doesn't Trust" Remaining Guys After Kalon Fiasco".
Were they left out of the media loop or is this a counterpoint PR placement to the engagement story - since the show has viewers that watch for the love story and just as many who tune in for the trainwreck?

Video: Bachelorette Emily "Doesn't Trust" Remaining Guys After Kalon Fiasco
Kalon McMahon apparently isn't the only guy who's gotten on Bachelorette Emily Maynard's bad side.
After kicking the 27-year-old luxury brand consultant out for badmouthing her daughter, Ricki, 6, Maynard brings her remaining bachelors to Dubrovnik, Croatia, but still has her doubts.
"I'm sorry," the single mom, 26, tells the guys to open her Monday night rose ceremony. "I stand here and start to second guess my decisions."
With rose in hand, Maynard looks thoughtfully at her remaining suitors, but something is mysteriously off, and all of a sudden the North Carolina blonde storms out of the Bachelorette mansion. "There's a part of me that just doesn't trust them. What else am I missing?" she wonders, running to Bachelorette host Chris Harrison. "Who else in there isn't all about me?" she demands.
Though it's unclear exactly what left Maynard uneasy, it's clear she doesn't take kindly to guys, like McMahon, with ulterior motives. "I want to go out there and rip his limbs off and beat him with them," Maynard fumed after McMahon referred to her little girl as "baggage."
Upon hearing her former suitor will take part in this summer's Bachelor Pad 3, Maynard sniped: "The fact Kalon will ever be on any TV [show] again makes me want to stab my eyeballs out with dull pencils."
Watch more of Maynard's rose ceremony drama in the clip above before the full episode airs Monday at 8 p.m. (EST) on ABC.

They really had to step up the PR this season when they eliminated all the adventurous dates and hot tub scenes

A Day Out With Bachelorette Emily Maynard
http://www.tvguide.com/News/Bachelorette-Emily-Maynard-1048944.aspx
Let's face it: Emily Maynard's a great date. In the midst of her stint as this season's Bachelorette, the 26-year-old sassy single mom from Charlotte, North Carolina, accepted our invite to paint pottery at New York's Make Meaning and talk a little shop. We may not have gotten a rose, but she sure won our heart.
TV Guide Magazine: So, filming just wrapped... Did you find what you were looking for?
Maynard: Well, I was happy before I was on the show, and I am happy now. That's a plus, right?
TV Guide Magazine: Wow, you're good. How was it balancing the show with real life?
Maynard: My mom duties went on just like normal. I'd get home from filming at 5am and was up at 7am making breakfast and packing lunch.
TV Guide Magazine: ABC couldn't spring for Lunchables?
Maynard: [Laughs] Well, [my 7-year-old daughter] Ricki is a picky eater. And I'm that mom. The peanut butter and jelly sandwich has to have the crust cut off.
TV Guide Magazine: How did you manage to stand up with so little sleep?
Maynard: I tried to remind myself that there are a million women who would give their arm to be where I am, so I had no right to complain. I wanted to be the best for the guys when I showed up, because it wouldn't be fair to them.
TV Guide Magazine: What did Ricki think of the guys?
Maynard: You know, she didn't meet any of them. I kept her very protected throughout all of this, so she just thinks I was going to work. But one day, I'm going to be really proud to tell her about the decisions I made.
TV Guide Magazine: After your short-lived engagement to Bachelor Brad, how did the producers convince you to do this again?
Maynard: I was like "no way!" At one point, I told them to please stop asking, that I was never, ever going to do this. But I prayed about it and made a list of why I would and wouldn't do it. Everything on the "cons" list was out of fear. What if it didn't work? What would that magazine print?
TV Guide Magazine: You'll be run out of town!
Maynard: Exactly. [Laughs] It turns out no one really cares. And [all of] Charlotte was so supportive. I would go into grocery stores and the magazine covers that had something bad about me would be turned around or ripped off.
TV Guide Magazine: Have you heard from Brad?
Maynard: No. Although I did see an interview he did, saying he dodged a bullet.
TV Guide Magazine: He dodged a bullet?!
Maynard: That was my reaction, too! [Laughs]
TV Guide Magazine: Now that both experiences are over, what did you learn about yourself?
Maynard: I learned I'm stronger than I give myself credit for. I never thought I'd be able to look at somebody and say, "You need to go."
TV Guide Magazine: Did you ever second-guess yourself during those rose ceremonies?
Maynard: A lot of times! I would go into the cocktail party with my mind made up, then something would happen and I'd change [it].
TV Guide Magazine: And you weren't aware of any beefs between the guys, either, right?
Maynard: No, not unless one of them told me. The first night's drama with Kalon and Stevie? I had no idea any of that had happened until I watched the episode.
TV Guide Magazine: But Kalon brought that on himself, showing up in a helicopter.
Maynard: Oh, totally. But I always stick up for the underdog. Even if he brings it on himself, the mama bear in me wants to protect the guy that's getting picked on.
TV Guide Magazine: Did Chris Harrison ever step in and say, "We need to talk about someone"?
Maynard: He is amazing. He really does care, but I think I made pretty good decisions.
TV Guide Magazine: So we won't spend the season thinking, "Why is she keeping this jerk around?"
Maynard: There [might] be a couple. Remember, I don't get to see what's going on in the house when I'm not there. Maybe I'll be surprised watching!
TV Guide Magazine: What did you think of them casting a race-car driver? [Maynard's first fiancé, NASCAR driver Ricky Hendrick, died in a plane crash in 2004.]
Maynard: Honestly, if it had been anyone but Arie, I would have thought something was up. But he's such a great guy, it didn't bother me.
TV Guide Magazine: What ended up being easier, giving out the roses or getting them?
Maynard: I'm not sure what was easier, but I know what was more fun: Giving them out.
TV Guide Magazine: Showing these guys who's boss?
Maynard: Exactly!
The Bachelorette airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.

I am curious about Something..... Arie said in his interview that he was notified for a reference about another diver to be on the bachelorette .. Blah blah .. Then said something about asking if he could .. Not a direct quote .. And ??left 5 days later for the show .. And yet he and Chris H were zooming around the track in the two seater several months ago ?? In November maybe.... There is a pic of them that ??Chis H posted .. Several thousand posts ago somewhere
So to me .. Something is fishy about this story .. As I said .. Just curious

I picked up on that too but I thought since he had stayed in touch with Cassie all those years and she had asked him to be on the show several times ( rumor) that maybe some on the TB staff could have met him before. I also believe Arie mentioned it was a long time before they called him back to do the show after he mentioned being interested if they still needed someone.
