What does he mean?

It is a weird thing to say. It's like he is trying to imply the risk he takes by sneaking to see her effects or foreshadows his going home? I noticed in the media discription of the show they had a line in there o the effect of, one Bach sneaks to see Emily but how will he be recieved. Sounds canned but the rest of the interview didn't so who knows Bachelorette 8 - Media - Thread #3 - Page 14 2148147175

It looks like that is what he is implying.

But why would Emily not be grateful to him for taking the risk after she chewed him up last wee for not ? Doesn't make sense (but what does this season Bachelorette 8 - Media - Thread #3 - Page 14 3044225749?)

Oops! 'Bachelorette''s Arie Hints at Engagement

By PAIGE FEIGENBAUM

June 15, 2012

Racecar driver Arie's mouth was running a mile a minute Friday morning on a conference call with ETonline. The adrenaline rush may have gotten the best of him by possibly accidentally dropping a major Bachelorette bombshell.

When prompted if he'd be interested in starring as the next Bachelor, he responded, "My fiancé might not approve of that." Is this a foreshadowing of things to come? Is he engaged to Emily Maynard? To another lucky girl? Or, is this a ploy to send the media into a frenzy and he's actually still an eligible bachelor?

In the conversation, Arie prepared us for this upcoming Monday's episode, which he labeled as a "turning point" in their budding relationship. "I break the rules this week to make sure she knows that," he teased. The riskiest move on Arie's part would undoubtedly be a proposal ahead of the finale, which is still weeks away. "I don't think that would happen this soon," he said.

Related: 'Bachelorette' Recap: Emily's Mama Bear Comes Out

So, what is their status now? "I still feel, as I did on the show, that we have a connection that sets us apart from everybody… [My feelings are] still as strong as they were when I was on the show."

Related: Cheers to Sean's 'Bachelorette' London Romance

Of course the chat also turned to the Kalon drama that erupted and if Arie regretted not confronting Emily on his own free will about the "baggage" comment, allowing Doug to do the dirty work. "I wanted to absorb every moment with her. I wanted to use it talking about us and our future. I didn't want to dwell on the drama in the house. That's the standpoint I took," he explained. "Unfortunately, she looked to me to stand up for her. She handled it so well. She said the perfect thing to him."

Are we prematurely jumping to conclusions and reading between the lines? So many cliffhangers left dangling from this interview. He left us with more questions than answers on whether he pops the question. Only time will tell the truth as the story unfolds each Monday night on ABC.

So now Arie has taken Ricki from being baggage to being the drama in the house? :gotcha: It just keeps getting better with him, right? 🇳🇴

I'm confused. Where does he say this?

It makes sense because it appears at she does because in one write up of the show it says she kisses him good night afterwards. He also says its a big turning point for him so it seems this risk has a big payoff for him. Why they want him to imply otherwise is beyond me.

I wonder if the group date and that hot kiss we see is before or after he sneaks off to see her? That might help

So now Arie has taken Ricki from being baggage to being the drama in the house? :gotcha: It just keeps getting better with him, right? 🇳🇴 Sad that he didn't feel it important enough to break the rules to tell a woman he was supposed to be falling in love with that her daughter was being discussed in such a manner, Embarassed but when he saw a chance to try to make up for that and make himself look better by getting another guy sent home, he was all for it. Suspect Wasn't that just drama in the house also and something Em should have been allowed to find out for herself ( Ryan not being there for her) scratch As for the feelings part, had to notice he didn't say anything about his feelings for Em growing or hers for him.. affraid We could all tell he liked her. As for a connection that sets them apart from the others? :giggle: Of course they have one. Racing. Rolling Eyes We knew that from the start.. :giggle: They both love it....Em doesn't care for football. Ask Ryan. ; ) but she does love her some skateboarding... Can't wait to read Jef's next week.

Well, this is an EOnline aticle and not the actual inteview. Arie addresses most the things you question in his inteview such as baggage/drama issues :stirthepot (and yes, it was pure trumped up drama) No one bled, no one got hurt, Ricki wasnt affected at all. Big to do about nothing - just a reason fo Kalon to get to go home. :stirthepot If you dont like Arie, I guess you could twist this anyway you want, but in reality, he did address his and Emily's feelings and his motives in doing what he did. no idea

They asked him about proposing. I think that was the question. I read it that he might not get the opportunity to meet Ricki at all, nor that he might not get the opportunity to propose. Which I think is what the spoilers tell us: Arie did neither.

Question to you all :
What does F1 mean : the one who proposed, the one she picks or the last guy on the last episode. Could the F1 spoiler mean something else than we thought? I hope my question doesn't seem stupid.

If you read the text of the full article in People, it's very clear that Arie was referring to Kalon not Ricki.
