I'm just going by what Emily herself said, and that was that she regretted introducing them to each other. But this is the same person who almost let herself be talked into getting married, so that it could air on the ATFR, and this was without giving Brad and Ricki any time to get to know each other.

The child (almost 7?) can read at this point so I'd be more concerned that in Target or Harris Teeter she sees a cover shot of Mom and New Guy and a salacious headline. Or, that one of her own peers says something about it or repeats something that their parents have said concerning it. We never completely know what our kid's friends are allowed to be exposed to or get to see on TV. Unless the child lives in a bubble, she could accidently learn of all of this stuff so I would hope her Mom prepares her for it in some way.

She wrote a similar article yesterday about the sleuthing that led to FRC locations and some other things. In one sense, I guess it's an honor for the board, but in another, isn't she letting us do her work for her?

Shelby, I never said she tried to take the credit. She did attribute people by name without their permission, which didn't go over well. My main point is that summarizing what other people say and the work that they did hardly qualifies as reporting, though by what Jiccaz has said it sounds like a site that most anyone can sign up and write for.
