ABC actually won the night, with the Finale and ATFR being the highest rated programs of the night. I guess overall TV viewership really is down across all the channels.

Despite pushing the two-part finale to Sunday from its usual spot on Monday (to make room for tonight's premiere of Bachelor Pad), The Bachelorette's ratings were up 7 percent from last year's finale, and even more impressive is that the After the Finale Rose special was up 14 percent from last year.

Zap2it said the finale was up last night and the best non sports summer numbers for ABC in several years.

The Bachelorette won all 3 hrs, including the 18-49 demo.

Well, that's kind of bad news. I would hate to think that TPTB think that craptastic finale is the way to go for future seasons. :Frown:
