Not long ago I read some articles about Emily Maynard's dating history.
Some friends of mine are curious with Emily's men....So I made photo collage of her men, just doing it for fun and for all of you. I got all these names from various sources, some might be just dating rumors, some serious ones. I let you decide. Who are your favorites?

I was about to mock this -- why is every single guy (a) very rich, or (b) in the public limelight. Apart from First Love Ricki (can't speak ill of him) it looks like a dating pattern of someone trying to stay famous or get famous. Show-mancy.

THEN, I got this hilarious idea of stringing photos and bios of all the boys I'd kissed before landing upon my own Prince Charming in similar fashion in one post, and my compassionate side took over.

Hahaha! Great idea! If we all strung together photos of our past boyfriends/lovers/friends-w-benefits/etc, I bet a lot of people would just want to :hidingchair hide !

Looking at Em's guys, and taking into consideration the possibility that some of these were just rumors, I'd say she likes hunky blondes.

Emily has an eclectic taste in men .... maybe it depends on the mood she is in. As to a favorite, I would say Jake Owen and Arie with longer hair.

The Bachelorette's' Emily Maynard: 'Bachelor' Brad Womack 'is excited for me'

It's Emily Maynard's turn to be "The Bachelorette," but there's someone else to consider.

Viewers of the 2011 edition of "The Bachelor," in which Maynard was selected by -- and later split with -- second-time chooser Brad Womack, know she's a single parent. Young daughter Ricki remains a big factor in the decision-making as 25 suitors come calling for Maynard in ABC's eighth round of "The Bachelorette," starting Monday, May 14.

"I am having the absolute time of my life," the pleasant Southerner tells Zap2it of making the show thus far. "It's so much more fun than I could have imagined. I had worried about not getting enough sleep, but I have been going on pure adrenaline."

Though her "Bachelor" run gave Maynard some sense of what to expect, she notes the surprises "The Bachelorette" is bringing her are "true to life. You can ask your friends for advice, but in the end, you're going to follow your heart and do what you want to do. That's what I'm doing, and I'm glad I came into it with an open mind, just like [the series' producers] told me to."

However, also in Maynard's mind constantly is Ricki ... the reason much of the show's season is set in their home base of Charlotte, N.C.

"Ricki is the center of my universe," Maynard states, "and I think it's important for people to see that I didn't just say to her, 'OK, I'm going to leave again.' If I get home at 6:30 in the morning from a rose ceremony, she wakes up at 7, and I'm up making breakfast. I think this will give people a feel for who I am and what's important to me."

Ricki's father, NASCAR driver Ricky Hendrick, died in a 2004 plane crash. "All the producers and everybody at 'The Bachelorette' have been amazing in accommodating Ricki's schedule and mine," reflects Maynard, who was engaged to Hendrick at the time of his death. "I feel like they're putting my daughter and me ahead of making a TV show. That's their No. 1 priority, but they understand what my No. 1 priority is, too."


Now being the one to decide in each episode's climactic moments who receives the all-important roses -- indicating which contestants do or don't stay -- sits well with Maynard. "I think that in the past year, I've become a lot more comfortable in my own skin, but it doesn't take the pressure off. These guys have to impress me, instead of me impressing them, so I feel more free to be myself.

"This time around, if a guy falls in love with me, I want it to be the true Emily that all my friends know. I don't want it to be the shy, nervous, awkward Emily that a lot of people have gotten to know. I'm a single mom trying to find a guy."

Maynard reports that she has been in touch with Womack, and that "he's excited for me" on her "Bachelorette" pursuit. In the same way he did twice, she is looking to amiable "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" host Chris Harrison as a confidant, especially when it comes down to her choosing between the last two remaining contenders for her heart.

"He is one of my favorite people ever," Maynard says of Harrison. "He is so funny and so humble, and he's a great dad, so he gets what it's like. He knows what does and doesn't work as far as the relationships go, and he's a great, friendly face to see everywhere we go ... just a very calming guy."

Only a few short hours separate us from the Bachelorette season 8 premiere, when Emily Maynard will embark upon the romantic journey that will change her life forever ... or not ... considering the last time she got engaged on this show didn't go so well ...

Anyway: I can't believe I almost forgot to give you the only way you're going to get through tonight's largely boring episode!

Yes, I've seen the episode sans rose ceremony, and I'm sorry to say that despite our new Bachelorette's genuinely lovely and refreshing personality, it looks like tonight's initial "meet and greet" between her and the guys might be more of a "bore and snore" for those of you who'd rather dispense with the pleasantries and get to the desperation and insanity.

Thankfully, the preview for this season seems to indicate that drama will be on the rise as the weeks go on.

And thankfully for tonight, you've got this brand new drinking game I just made up! So gather your pals and pints, and cheers to another round of hearing those words we all relish so much: "Will you accept this rose?"

Yes, tonight's drinking game is a little more subjective and conceptual than some of our past drinking games. But that's part of the fun -- it's like a Choose Your Own Adventure, with booze. Which we all know is the best kind of adventure. Because it always leads to the right place: Drunktown! (Just kidding. Please drink responsibly.) (Just kidding. You're already subjecting your brain to The Bachelorette. Do whatever you want with your liver.)

Bachelor Alum Michelle Money: “Emily Is 100% In It To Find Love”

Regarded as one of the most talked about TV personalities in Bachelor history, Michelle Money has often been perceived as a villainess. In an exclusive interview with In Touch, the hair and makeup stylist turned reality star reveals how she stripped away her bad girl persona to empower teenage girls (and gives her advice to best pal Emily Maynard as she begins her dramatic Bachelorette journey!).

“My passion is helping women feel confident,” Michelle, who recently teamed up with Big Brothers Big Sisters to award four underprivileged high school students the ultimate fantasy prom makeover, shares. “We hear of prom makeover stories, but less about the ones where celebs step in to create the magic themselves... so this was right up my alley.”

While the makeover includes a beauty prep room at NYC’s Roommate Grace hotel, pampering at The Finishing Bar with manicure and pedicure treatments, shoes, accessories, hair and makeup by Michelle, and a dress from K.Borgella's spring/summer 2011 and 2012 collection, Michelle says she also hopes to provide beauty tips and tricks that will enable the four young women to be more confident in their everyday lives.

“Whenever girls come to my salon and ask to look like a certain celebrity I remind them, ‘You don’t want to look like her! You want to look like you!’” she says.

And after feeling misunderstood after contending for Brad Womack’s heart on TV, Michelle also shares her advice on what Emily needs to do to get through the drama.

“You just have to stay true to who you are… Things will be manipulated,” she warns. “If you worry too much about what other people think it will drive you mad.”

Michelle also tells In Touch that Emily struggled with the decision to be the next Bachelorette.

“At the end of the day, Emily wants to find love,” she shares. “She wants it for Ricki, for herself… why not take this experience and give it a shot?”

First I don't think she has dated all the guys listed above. Also, these are the guys that would make the news. She may have dated other men that were not rich or famous, but I doubt that would end up in the paper or tabloids.

Bachelorette mansion on the market

(WXYZ) - If you like what you see on this season of the Bachelorette you can have it for just $6 million.

Forbes Magazine is reporting that the European-style mansion where ABC filmed this season of the popular reality dating show is on the market in Charlotte, North Carolina.

According to the magazine, this is the first season in the Bachelor/Bachelorette's history that the show was not filmed at the familiar Santa Monica estate.

Forbes says the home was for sale of just $3.9 million before the Bachelorette was filmed there. It was taken off the market during the filming, but is now available for just $5.899 million.

Tonight on "The Bachelorette" 2012 fans got to meet Jef Holm. This was the first we have seen of the guy who rode up on a skateboard. What did you think of him Oklahoma City fans?

Michelle Money is known for her time on "The Bachelor" and also "Bachelor Pad." Tonight she was live tweeting about the show and is a big fan of Jef Holm. She does not know him personally but it sounds like she has heard a bit about him.

Here is what she had to say:

"There's my boy Jef from UTAH! He is a great guy from what I know! And People Water is an amazing company that I am excited to be involved in!"
