Up until last season there was a good chance that whoever had a 1-on-1 in episode 3 would end up being the F1. So Chris will most likely be in the F4.

However, do we know who got the second 1-on-1 date that will be shown in episode 3 this season yet?

Now that they changed the pattern, it is a whole new ballgame. I was pretty stubborn about Lindzi being F1 because she did have the epi 3 1on1. But not, I do not know what to think! I really like this guy though! I wish we had some upclose videos of them dancing. He seems so sweet and kinda awkward (which I find adorable).

Looking at the videos and pictures I think there is a connection,imo. She seems to like him a lot. There are other dates to be seen though.

HIs smile is sincere. his body is always turned to her (fully or partial), his eyes are on her.

yes we need to see the footage vs pics but compared to ryan, I see a guy who careless about outside and is plain happy to be with her

Thanks for the welcome:) well in past season's F1 had the 1:1 date in episode 3! Emily was the F1 when she went on her 1:1 in episode 3(vineyard date) so I think Chris will be in the finale:)

I want to check out the second 1-1 in Ep. 3. One of those two will probably be in the F4. Chris has Ben's Emily's slot climbing the Golden Gate Bridge/dinner. That was the first 1-1 in Ep. 3, and Emily ended up F6.
The 2nd 1-1 in Ep. 3 was Lindzi's date which was a concert and dinner. I doubt seriously that 1-1 guy with have yet another concert, but I bet ya he has a more private type date than the big crowds.

One other thought - Emily may appear more relaxed with Chris and thus connected because by the time she got to him she has had more experience with the crowds and the cameras than when she was with Ryan. By the time she gets to Ep. 4 and the 1-1, if she likes him, we are likely to see a real snuggle bunny in Emily.

Regarding the bolded, I asked this question upthread and noobsleuth brought this to my attention but do we think Chris may have been on the Sky/Muppets Group Date? If he was then he might have had some alone time, other than the M&G, with Emily before this one on one. Thus they feel more comfortable around each other. Ryan was the first date so all the alone time he had before that date was during the M&G.

Everything is relative and up for speculation and change at this point, especially if your looking at editing statistics, when we don't even have the edited total picture that we usually have when watching the show when it airs. We are not privy to who had great interaction/chemistry during M&G, SQT at the previous RC's, and SQT on group dates. However, physical interaction, especially on moving film can be more reliable even if not put in total context yet with audio and the whole date seen. The fact that Emily kissed him several times and they way she was hanging on to him definitely signifies major interest in Chris. Does it guarantee that he is F1-4 or that she feels more for him than Ryan? No. By the same token th echemistry you saw with Ryan could change and dissipate with time as often happens with the dreaded first one-on-one. As much as people would like to believe things are preset in stone after the M&G or first few weeks of dates, it's still a very fluid thing as to where Emily's feelings, attraction, and heart will lie. It's early yet to know anything but attraction, especially when there are still so many Bachelors, dates and interactions we've yet to see.

Obviously you can't tell alot or compare from small glimpses but here goes anyway --

I think in this instance she may be trying to get him through a very awkward situation where he is in front of a large crowd and being filmed for tv but clearly is extremely uncomfortable and shy with the dancing and onlookers. I think a few times Emily is telling him it's ok as if he's worrying out loud about not being a dancer or being comfortable in this spotlight. She looks like she's being kind and trying to make him feel less awkward/shy and is taking the lead to get the footage they need, but I don't see feelings that look romantic or sparks. On Ryan's date I did in some moments.
