Bachelor Pad: 1 long term relationship (seriously, is Kip EVER going to propose???) + 1 wedding
True. And when that whorehouse circus is beating you, it's time for another plan.

Me too! Honestly, after reading the tweets and quotes from the attendees about how romantic the ceremony was and how palpable the love between Ashley and JP was, I'd be equally excited if they got married in front of the justice of the peace. I'm sure the decorations, flowers, food, and party were all lovely, but all of that is secondary to the emotion and the love. That's what I'm most excited to see on the 16th. I'm super-jealous of everyone who got to witness it in person.umngirl wrote:Seeing the promo on t.v. just now made me ridiculously excited for two weeks from now.

Barbarossa, what show was Outback Jack?
Outback Jack was my very favorite dating show ever! If you can find it on DVD, it's well worth watching.
I think I've watched that about 3 or 4 times, plus the wedding and stuff they put together. I LOVED that show, but I doubt they could ever have another couple with that charisma again. : ) They are simply adorable.!!!
I had never heard of this reality show, but it sounds like something I would enjoy watching.
I Googled this couple and a lot has happened since they got married. They have three daughters now.

I believe this is a recent picture of them
Yes, that's them Vadim Dale and Natalie. Three daughters now. Outback Jack was a bachelor type show on TNT. One season, one marriage, three kids.

I am not aware of where to see it. The wife and I watched the original broadcast and the special about their wedding. In some ways, a Bachelor Canada situation nearly developed. Vadim nearly cut her week 4 and literally changed his mind during the ceremony. And the rest, as they say, is history.

I love those stories. It is not always I knew from the beginning.

Oh wow, wish Fleiss and crew would take more note and notice what is actually happening and would "interfere" in the good way for a change and tell the lead someone needs more time...Barbarossa wrote:Aunties_Love wrote:Barbarossa, is there anywhere to watch Outback Jack? What's in a name?
What's in a name?
I really had to laugh at something I read in the Wetpaint "exclusive" report on the wedding.
To quote Wetpaint, "After dancing their night away, the crowd cheered as the newly-minted Mr. and Mrs. Rosenbaum headed out for the night… and into their future."
Well guess what? The new couple is either Dr. and Mr. Rosenbaum, or Mr. and Dr. Rosenbaum? But for sure, it is not Mr. and Mrs. Rosenbaum.

I think the comments on the adequacy of the venue pretty much miss the point. The only two things that matter are 1) that the producers got what they need to create a Bach/Bachette TV wedding on a 32" or better screen that will touch the heart of the Bach/Bachette fans, and 2) that the unbelievably fortunate guests came away feeling they had participated in a once-in-a-lifetime experience of excitement, love, and warmth which comes from simultaneously being a cast member (or extra) and being in love with Ashley and JP.
Best, we bach/bachettes will get to enjoy and savor every aspect of this as it unfolds over the next couple of weeks. Let's hope we can get some good insights from our usual sources.

I must be reading different sites then.
The last FRC (JEM)production site looked like a cheap yard and garden display from KMART. And some of the FRC gowns have been pretty gaudy/tacky in the past. "High standards" is not what I generally associate in the same sentence with this franchise, but that's just me.
But the most important thing is a) ratings and $$$ b) the happiness of the wedded couple and their loved ones who celebrated said event (and not necessarily in that order).
Have to agree about the FRC not mostly not that great looking.
Seems attendees had a great time.

That article told a lot about the ceremony! Interesting about the celtic knot thing. Never heard of it before.
