Re: Ashley & JP - Site and Wedding Updates - Discussion
The Huntington, as LA folks still call it, is a beautiful venue. I think that will be seen in the show. I was out Christmas shopping yesterday and saw the clouds part mid afternoon and sent good wishes Pasadena way for a rain free ceremony. I think the wedding show will be fun and I am also looking forward to seeing who all from Bach Nation attended. Best wishes to Ashley and JP for a long happy marriage!

According to @1DAmericanFan on twitter, the bridesmaid dresses were light pink.

From what I understand most of the pictures we saw were taken before or during the set up so it may look different when we see it. Regardless, if the bride and groom were happy with it, that is all that matters, imo. I am sure JP's brothers wedding will be beautiful in it's own right how ever they decide to do it also.

This whole occasion sounds so festive and romantic...I can't wait to see it..as I said in Sean's thread..practically a real life Hallmark holiday wedding event. Wish them the very best and lifelong happiness.
As for the success rate convo, Survivor, Big Brother and Love in the Wild may soon have as many or more marriages between cast members. It seems like working together to achieve goals and to jointly overcome stressful moments along with the strength of the bond really plays a bigger part than romantic outings and settings.

Outback Jack was my very favorite dating show ever! If you can find it on DVD, it's well worth watching.

You can easily do simple and still not blah, especially considering the guests are in black tie. Huge pet peeve of mine is having me dress to the nines to have the place look like it's dressed to the fives.
Aerial shots of Disneyland are pretty unimpressive, so maybe the site will look better at ground level during the ceremony.
I hope.
I just did a bang out glamourous, sophisticated wedding with pretty much no concern for budget in NYC this summer, so--honestly aerial view or not--I was not impressed with the limited scenery and decorations for the venue. Again--that was was me.
From my understanding JP's brother and sister-in-law to be will be doing a bang out affair in about 8 weeks in NYC at a lovely venue that I believe will be on par with the JP's/Ashley's.
I agree, but I hope we get to see what JP's brother's wedding looks like!
Anything I post means it's Just My Opinion. Don't feel like posting it every time I post. So, I thought I'd get that out of the way.

lancecorning wrote:My Pasadena source says no picture on this board show the actual ceremony. Most were taken on Friday, when it rained most of the day and the plastic tents were still up. She says that it was misting today prior to the ceremony and the guests were all given umbrellas. However, the ceremony was fortuitously delayed for a half and hour, perhaps by master wedding planner Mindy Weiss, and just as Ashley was walking down the aisle, the sun burst through and shown down on the couple for the duration of the ceremony. Then the clouds closed in again. It sounds a bit magical, almost like the parting of the Red Sea, but we shall soon see.

lancecorning wrote:As JP was reported to have said to a friend at the wedding about that first night at the mansion, "her beauty cast silken bands around my heart and nearly brought it to a stop."
A contact who saw her walk down the aisle yesterday remembered hearing that and commented that some things never change. She did it again yesterday.
.
lancecorning for sharing all of this with us! We really appreciate it. :Flirty:

I think I've watched that about 3 or 4 times, plus the wedding and stuff they put together. I LOVED that show, but I doubt they could ever have another couple with that charisma again. : ) They are simply adorable.!!!

I had never heard of this reality show, but it sounds like something I would enjoy watching.
I Googled this couple and a lot has happened since they got married. They have three daughters now.

If you can find it anywhere, you would really enjoy it. Love the pic of them now. Love that they have 3 daughters, but wish a son had been thrown in there. : ) Wanted to add, she was soooooooo funny to watch there in the Outback, so he called her princess.
