I thought Tenley was the admissions director for a college. Is that in the past?

Tenley left the admissions director job even before she left for San Diego.

I'm surprises it lasted as long as it did for it seems as if after year 1, it was only Tenley gushing. Sad that she didn't walk away back then instead of appearing to hang on for dear life ...

Why are they using the term "taking a break?" Why don't they just say that the relationship is over? Maybe they are hoping for a reconciliation in the future.

Tenley probably wanted a marriage proposal and Kip wasn't ready. By taking a "break" he can evaluate what he really wants. Personally, I hope she moves on for good. She deserves someone who is crazy about her.

I think Tenley wanted to marry him based on her refusal to move in with him, without a ring. They would have been living together after she moved for him, if neither of them wanted marriage. I hope she finds everything she is looking for.

Given that she stood by him when he almost killed himself and couldnt walk, i'd say he was the lucky one and everyone could stop assuming she's the desperate one. It takes 2 to make, keep and break a relationship.
