Yeah, based on what info we have on Ryan so far, he sure seems like a "perfect" match for Emily. Of course, we don't really know what her physical type is, and although I realize it may be hard to believe, it's possible that she isn't physically attracted to him (or is much more physically attracted to a different guy), or has much better chemistry with a different guy. However, I do believe that, based on her circumstances, and that she has to not only consider her own interests but those of her daughter as well, and what is best for both of them, if she is really serious about finding a husband/long term partner from this, she needs to take a more practical and less frivolous approach than some prior Bachelorettes, and think through more than just who she may have the best chemistry with, especially if that guy also lives thousands of miles away, isn't really ready for the responsibility of parenthood, has differing lifestyle/goals/values etc.

I imagine that the possibility that any of these guys, Ryan included, might not actually be interested in/attracted to Emily is pretty much out of the realm of possibility, right? :giggle:

All that said, I am still rooting for Ryan at present, and will be somewhat disappointed initially if spoilers end up proving that she chose somebody else. If that's the case, I just hope they don't edit things to make it appear that Emily was crazy not to choose him, and we do see why whoever she does pick was a good choice for her (presuming he is).

I'm thinking his HTD will be one of the first if he gets to the final 4 since he lives on the east coast.

Since a lot pf people seem to think he is a great match for Emily, I won't be surprised if he is the one who looks good on paper, but something was missing! If he is not the F1.

I don't have a favorite yet, I'm going to wait for the show to air and see her interactions with all the guys! :Smiley:

Fascinator- It is okay to pick a preseason favorite:) It does not preclude us from changing our F1 pick once the season airs when we see the interaction between the lead and the contestants.

Speaking for myself, I picked Ryan P for Ashley in the preseason and changed it to JP as F1 once the season aired. I also picked Courtney for Ben in the preseason and stayed with her as F1.

I fully agree with you. His extreme good looks are hard to overlook....but personality and character are so much more! We'll see...it'll be interesting to see what type of guy Emily is attracted to!

Do we know if Ryan has any tattoo's...I ask only because Ali has come out in a interview recently and said one of the things that shocked her about sweet Emily, and that fans would be surprised in, is that Emily is attracted to me with tattoo's.
We know Brad had a one on his back, so do we know if Ryan has any..Just curious?
