It's not that I want Roberto or Sean to be exposed to TPTB's shenanigans, but I feel like they have more of a chance of overcoming them.

Lochte would draw a whole new audience and maybe even more male viewers. But for the wrong reasons. There's a possibility that he'd turn the entire show into a joke which is not where Fleiss would want his franchise to go. Once it goes there, you can't bring it back. I think BP3 has already gone there, although I don't think that was Fleiss's original intent. A lot of Bachelor/B'chette fans don't watch BP3 because it is so trashy. Lochte would be a huge risk, but the payoff, if they could get him to fit into the format, would be also be huge. Is Fleiss a gambler??

I'm not sure that a Lochte-type season isn't exactly the direction Fleiss would like to go. With all the manufactured drama and general downward spiral this franchise has taken the last few seasons, I think a Lochte-type is exactly what Fleiss is after. I mean, this is the guy that put the Jake/Vienna breakup on air -- even took up valuable air time from whatever season was airing at the time to do it. He also put the Jason/Melissa/Molly breakup/switchup on air when it could have been handled completely differently, and respectfully to all involved. He's even editing in exploding volcanoes on fantasy dates. The dude is scum.

I think Fleiss would like to capture more of the cable realityTV market. They've been watching trash for years. He doesn't care about the 50+ romantics out there that built his audience in the beginning. They're going to watch regardless, always hopeful for another Trista/Ryan.

But, I don't think a Ryan Lochte season is in the works for this show. He's too big a 'get' for Fleiss (as in, already famous, olympic athlete) and other offers will come Ryan's way.

I don't think the second sentence is true by any stretch of the imagination. Just saying. If there is a will there's a way and this guy seems to thrive on the edge.
But this is not the show for him. He would make Jesse Palmer or Blob look like a sincere candidate on their seasons.

Probably.
Think about all the pool and hot tub scenes in a normal season. Then think about his occasional peeing in the pool syndrome. If I were part of the machine, I would be sneaking the chemicals into the water that change the color of the water when they come into the contact with urine.
Instead of saying to his dates: will you accept this rose, his mantra might be will you accept this urine?

Holy jeebers! I wouldn't believe that if I hadn't seen it with my own 2 eyes. I'm not attracted AT ALL, but I'm beginning to think he would make a fabulous bachelor. The snark would be so easy, even I would be funny!

The bolded is the main reason, I would enjoy the season! I think he's cuter in his swim trunks and cap than in normal cloths! But he doesn't do much for me...but a season of him would be so much fun on a snark level! And I like your new name for him!
