thanks, Dee, I thought he had an inherited family ring, didn't realize he bought one, sorry, jmo, seems a little odd to me, but I'm sure Paige will love it.

On the swing on their combine date he said that his last girlfriend was two years ago...and in an introduction scene he also stated that two years ago he bought the ring. Makes you go hmmmmm...
I wouldn't want it either if it was bought for someone else. I would much rather have a simple band with no diamonds if i knew it was bought for me and only me.

I thought it was a family ring - maybe a grandma's but could be totally off.

Do Ya'll think CMT is starting to buy rings for these guys that want to propose like they do on the Bachelor.It seems strange to me that Landon and Bubba would come to this show with enough money to purchase an engagement ring!Since SHA is starting to act like the Bachelor in its edit, you gotta wonder if they are doing this.God help us if they start doing the fantasy suites.I think I would find another show to watch.I just love prayers they do and it has appeared to be a show with morals.I guess that, too, may quickly change.That Southern Nights show is just like the Bachelor Pad, too.So, it just makes me wonder what direction this show is taking.

I am off to work, but I believe that it is in the very first episode where it shows him on his farm and throwing a hay bale.
I just went and looked quick and it isn't in the very first five minutes when he is throwing the hay bale. It is about 10 minutes into the first show he talks about being one of ten kids and the only one not married. Feeling a bit of pressure to get married, but he's ready for it. The he says "so I bought a ring 2 years ago and now I just need the girl."
