I am wondering if Paige meets J's family. My thoughts are that since Jeremiah got the first date right after the elimination of the Shauns, that Bubba did the planning to have Paige come to his house for their date. His last ditch effort to show her that he has his life all together. Just speculation.
In the couch scene Bubba seems VERY uncomfortable and Jeremiah VERY happy. I wonder if Bubba already knows that it is an uphill battle for him.

I don't think Paige got to meet Jeremiah's family. They would have to film up north, and since this was in filmed in December, there was probably lots of snow fall by then in MN.

And in my opinion, maybe I'm just a natural skeptic, but I really don't think the contestants/leads have much say on their dates. These things would have had to been planned WEEKS ago.

I went back three times and what i saw was Paige Nudgy Jeremiah as Paige sat down .

OK after watching this clip too many times it seems Bubba is pulling away When Paige goes to sit down he pulls away from her hand, and when you see the hugs side by side I'm sure you can feel their (j & P) connection

Been thinking about Bubba in this video. I wonder if in his mind if Paige sent Jeremiah home he knew he had it; if she sent Shaun Bigos home he'd be worried. I think we see a chink in the armor and some nerves (and is just barely showing them since a cowboy has to come across confident). I also better throw in that some of the maneuvers might be producer oriented - they may have wanted sitting, standing a certain way and maybe said - no touching. I find it hard to believe Bubba doesn't care at this point. He and Shaun talked about Jeremiah's weakest point being that he hadn't committed to Paige. Is that part of the reason he gets a ring for her - to show he is committed? or had he already agreed to the producers to do it but knew at this point that Paige didn't have the connection with him that would be needed? or???? Bubba has still been one of the best guys ever cast on a reality dating show - fun to watch and respectful, and his fun turn of phrases, but we can all see the special connection between Jeremiah and Paige. And Jeremiah's smile is one of the best smiles ever on these shows.

Just a friendly reminder that all of us don't see that special connection. I see awkward exchanges and frustration of the lead ala Brad Womack and Emily Maynard. Star struck by each other and not seeing past the initial attraction. JMHO. :Smiley:

Who knows what these people know and how they really feel. After the first 2 seasons of this show, I think it's every bit as edited, contrived and fake as the Bachelor franchise. I'll still watch it because I think it's fun to watch, but I don't hold out much hope for any of these relationships beyond the show. Time will tell. In the meantime, I'll still watch and giggle in my living room at the possibility of young love blooming before my eyes. :Biggrin:

If I had to make a guess, I would say that Bubba thinks he is the last one standing because he's probably been convinced of that by the producers. Part of the drama building I suppose. What I have to always remind myself that these people come out at the end of these shows better off and happier looking than before. They've had an experience unlike any other and I've never really seen any of them any worse for the wear afterward. I just try to take these shows for what they are - a show produced for my and your entertainment. :cutesmile!:

Hmmm...that is a good one. He and Paige are both very religious and according to the bible (if I remember correctly) in Gods eyes being engaged is pretty much the same as being married. I think that he takes marriage too seriously to propose to someone that he has only know for such a short time. JMHO
He has also said on the show that he wants her to be his girlfriend and to date her. I don't remember if he has ever said that he wants to marry her. Which of course is his end goal since he is very serious about finding a wife and starting a family.

Yeah I'm not sure. At first, I thought he might have; since they did leave the PI of him saying he bought a ring 2 years ago. Paige has also hinted in an interview or two that she may be engaged, but then those were interviews from early on. But, seeing how Jeremiah had such a difficult time with the process of the show, I don't think he'll rush into anything. They both did say "they don't date, for the sake of dating. If they were to date someone, it would be because they both see each other as their potential husband/wife".

Another "option" may be, that Jeremiah proposed POST-show. I'm assuming, if he were to propose he would be using the ring he had already bought (not the one production buys). And since he was skeptical about the entire process, I don't see him bringing the ring with him when filming started?

Does anyone know why he bought a ring 2 yrs. ago? Was it for another girl? If so, I wouldn't want it, but that's just me.

Gina - I don't think he gave a reason. What I got out of the statement, was that he was ready to settle down, so he bought a ring (and bought a house), but he just hasn't found the right girl yet.
