Yea! it's a great show so glad I found it thanks to this forum :) and have been reading along some of the findings here and happy to hear that Jeremiah's outburst was mainly thanks to edit...

Any recommendations for previous seasons to watch? this one seems like a love story from where I'm watching - would be great to watch any others if they're good

The other ones were good BUT this one is the best because Paige has said she found the love of her life :sprinklehearts

I'm almost done uploading my fan vid for Paige and Jeremiah. It's very very short because I don't have a ton of time right now to make fan videos but I figured it was better than nothing since we don't have an episode tonight. It's only about a minute long but I had fun making it! I'll post it here after I get it uploaded to youtube yes

I can't wait until I have time to actually make a full length video for them at the end of the season when we have more clips to work with! Anyways, I'll have it uploaded in a bit.

ETA: I just realized I was in season 4 and not three, but I just posted my video in the season discussion thread yes

I also posted it in the upcoming episode thread just in case. Enjoy!

'Sweet Home Alabama' season 4 spoilers: bring the ladies for Bubba

Paige Duke chose Minnesota farmer Jeremiah Korfe on the finale of "Sweet Home Alabama" last night, causing a rather ugly backlash on Facebook and Twitter as everyone just loves Bubba Thompson so dang much. But brace yourself ladies, because Korfe has let the cat out of the bag on his Facebook page -- it looks like Thompson will be back as the bachelor for "Sweet Home Alabama" season 4.

"SO SLEEP WELL AND of course you know who will be next season...it built up to it... SO we are both winners... : ) BUBBA is a good friend of mine and i cant wait to see him!"

CMT, you better brace yourself for hordes of ladies lining up for this one. And ladies all over the country are doing the Snoopy happy dance right now.

Thompson became a favorite on the show from the get-go, not just with fans and bachelorette Duke, but even the guys on the show love him, with city guy Dustin Tavella making a song and video homage to him.

And how can you not? The guy consistently urged those in the house to take the high road and Duke herself said he made her "want to be a better person."

Speaking of which, for those so upset and saying nasty things about Duke and Korfe because you love Thompson so much, have you learned nothing from his example? You should all be forced to wear "WWBD (What Would Bubba Do?)" t-shirts till you make nice. The hateful comments not only disrespect Duke and Korfe, but Thompson as well, who would never want his fans to do such a thing.

If you happened to miss the end of the finale when Thompson got the bad news, no one on the planet has ever taken rejection with more class -- Thompson looked into Duke's eyes and knew the answer, and basically spent that moment reassuring her so she wouldn't feel bad.

If that isn't enough for you ladies, Thompson has his own cattle ranch, a huge beautiful house he built himself, and he cooks.

Sigh.

Funny how conveniently the article left out the other part Jeremiah wrote about the producers telling Bubba that Paige wasn't going to pick him. Oh well. I don't dislike Bubba at all, but after finally watching the ending scene with him and Paige the words and whole scene seemed way too scripted for my taste. JMO though. I'm also not sure why the producers were so dead set on her picking Bubba. It seems to me they would be glad she ended up with Jeremiah so Bubba could be their next lead and have great ratings for the next season. Am I missing something?

I have been wondering the same thing. The only thing I can figure out is that the producers really wanted Jeremiah to be their next lead.

I have been wondering the same thing. The only thing I can figure out is that the producers really wanted Jeremiah to be their next lead.

I kind of think they wanted a proposal, and Bubba was prepared to give them one...Jeremiah was not.

I am so happy with the way it ended, and wish them nothing but the best!

I got to disagree about the part the producers wanting Jeremiah to be the lead. JMO. Could you imagine the uproar? lol.

"He's not from Alabama", "He's not even Southern" etc. since this is a CMT show with mostly Southern (states) demographic. Plus I don't think he would do it and he's uncomfortable with the cameras (The producers probably won't get enough material to work with).

I don't mind if they scripted Bubba's "look in her eyes" - it's a catchy concept and a fairy tale type response. There's no reason for the next to final guy to be humilated, especially one that's a good guy. If they humiliate the fellow it also makes it harder for them to get good casts in future season. They sure had a great cast this year.

Thanks to the forum for telling me about a show I would never otherwise have watched on a channel I didn't even know was in our Comcast package. Watched the finale, and thought it was sweet and sincere. Thanks girls!
