Bachelorette 21 - Jenn Tran - Aug 27 - MTA - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

Watching live now. And I can’t help but comment that Jenn is the least outwardly emotional lead I think I ever remember. Has she EVER cried letting someone go? Johnathan is such a great guy and they shared a lot but she was almost cold to him on his departure. I’m guessing this lack of emotion has made her less loved than many keads

Jesse introduces the guys in the studio for the MTA and then we go back to Devin and Jenn.

Devin thinks this could be it for him. He tells Jenn that he was unsure and should have told her during the FD, but didn't want to put pressure on her. He feels as if he is the back up choice like he has been in other relationships. She is shocked and in tears. She is upset that he feels that way and doesn't want him to feel unwanted. She tells him...of course she loves him you freaking idiot. That did the trick. He feels happy and she looks happier too. They tell each other ILY as he is leaving. I love you more. OK a bit odd, but they seem happy and the audience is lapping this up. Sam...not so much.

OMG...the Beetlejuice commercial with Jesse and Rachel Recchia.

RC...Well, we all know how this is going to go...Bye Jonathan it was nice to meet you, but you were too normal for this show.

Another beautiful dress color for Jenn. She looks great in orange. I have enjoyed her wardrobe for the most part...minus the shrugs.

Devin gets the first rose. Jonathan finally is expressing some doubts about not opening up enough and naturally doesn't get the rose. The audience gasps as Marcus get the final rose. He gets a big hug from Devin...more than from Jenn. Jonathan tells her he found clarity last night and regrets not opening up sooner. Tells her she has a couple of great guys out there and the van starts up and she walks him out. Again the audience are loving this. No doubt he will be very popular on BIP next year, specially after the tears after his self reflection.

He will be joining everyone on the stage next!

I would love to see Brett on BIP. They read some of the SM messages he has gotten.

We go through some of the crazy from the season. Lots of Sam BS. Let's see how that goes.

Aaron is full of it. He is naming who he was talking about when he left...Devin, virgin Sam, Spencer. He is so judgemental. His twin Noah is there and calls out his brother since he got a book during his season. Told him he has no right to tell everyone if they are ready because everyone has their own journey and we don't know what others are going through.

The other guys gang down on Sam and his "keeping the main thing, the main thing". Clearly they were not impressed. Jeremy defends Devin, saying apparently for Sam, Devin was the main thing, whereas for Devin, Jenn was. Burn. Love it. Wish we had seen more of this from Jeremy.

Jesse gives us a recap of Sam's time on the show. His entrance is so BS now that we know what he was thinking.

The guys are not giving him an inch. Jeremy calls him out about the Maria and Daisy statement and the audience is loving it. Datun and Charity are in the audience and Datun is shaking his head. He knows BS when he sees it. Sam is trying to do the "it was my bad delivery" and "I have learned" BS that I don't buy. He and his family were not so nice on SM and nobody brought up the wedding of his sister were he was supposed to be the officiant...before the end of the show.

Next we have a recap of Jonathan and his journey. A much more positive representation. It was hard watching it all back and seeing how it ended. They had a friendship from the start. It was hard for him to see how the other two guys were progressing compared to him. Jesse extended Jonathan the first invitation to the BIP beach next summer. (Brett may be second.)

The secret lives of Mormon wives. Lord help us. Such trash.

Grant the next Bachelor is in the house. He gets a great reception from the audience and the other guys. We get a recap of his journey. Everyone is very excited for him. He was very surprised that he could develop genuine feelings so quickly.

Since Grant was announced as the lead they have gotten over 10,000 applicants. He wants someone kind, genuine, good communicator and who treats others well. Beauty fades, so he wants someone who is beautiful on the inside. The other guys are very complimentary.

I think this could be a good season. Maybe we will see some of these guys coming to give him some advice. Hakeem would be a hoot.

Here comes Jenn. She appreciates how seriously the guys took the process.

Jonathan apparently keeps track of Jenn's dresses. He has a top list. They are very sweet.

She has some nice words for virgin Sam. Not so nice for the other Sam. She roasted him. She feels sorry for anyone who ends up with him. She doesn't appreciate that he and his family blamed everyone for how he came across...edit, producers, etc., but for her, the guy she saw on screen was exactly who she sat across from all season. She didn't like watching the show back to see how disrespectful and chest puffing he was throughout. He again tries to say he grew, but she...and I...are skeptical. (She is a lot nicer about it.)

Jesse and Jenn chat about being the first Asia Bette and how that was accepted by their community. Very interesting. It is a male dominated culture where they make the decisions, so this was somewhat controversial.

Charity and Dotun are living in Brooklyn and planning their wedding. They finally took their trip to Greece, but he was sick during it, so Jesse says ABC are sending them back for another trip. Nice.

Bloopers...cute, but not that amusing until Hakeem and the spider. His eyes and facial expressions are gold. Never again. Jesse tells him there are bugs at BIP and he needs to prepare. They bring out an even bigger spider. He is so funny. His reactions are gold. A fan favorite so he gets the 2nd invitation to BIP.

We also get a preview of the Golden Bette. Looking fun.

Finally, a preview of the final next week. Jenn admits she is in love with both Marcus and Devin. Her family thinks this is all going too fast. Her brother references her penchant for picking emotionally unavailable men and how long is she willing to wait. More uncertainty from both guys. At least Devin, got there. Marcus is still not there. Let's see how this plays out!

My favorite dress for Jenn was that orange one! Such a great color for her. I really liked her look in the preview of what looked like the LCD with Marcus.

I thought Grant did great and was looking good! I'm really looking forward to his season.  

I was sorry that Jahaan wasn't there because there were at least a couple of guys I didn't know. I thought that Hakeem and Brett really helped themselves and I hope they'll be on BIP. Jonathan too if he hasn't met someone. Sam M didn't really help himself and I loved Jenn laying it all out for him. Hopefully he's learned some things about how not to treat women.

Albean, I listened to Ben and Ashley on the Almost Famous podcast as they reviewed the FSD episode. They claim they aren't spoiled. They both think Jenn leaves alone (I don't agree but probably because I am spoiled). But Ben did say that the guy with Jenn at proposal time has to be Devin given his height.

Just wanted to record a few things I found odd at last night's MTA:

1. F4 Jeremy was seated in the back road. Don't remember that happening.

2. None of the guys were actually in the 'hot seat'. Right? Jenn talked to all of them from a far distance.

3. Austin wasn't there even though he went quite far.

4. Jenn didn't even talk to Jeremy her F4.
