Bachelorette 21 - Jenn Tran - Aug 12 - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

I hope this is something to do with Wicked the musical! It's my favorite! Apparently there's a movie coming out in November and it will be part one . I don't know what happens in this episode but ho0e that Sam M is gone by the end.

Oh, oh. Sh*t is going to hit the fan tonight. We start with Jenn marching into the guys hotel room all dressed up and looking for Sam. Looks like someone will get a major slap down. Can't wait!!!

They are back to Seattle and next week are HTs. She wants to talks with someone who has been through this and give her some advice. Charity rolls into the coffeeshop with that sour lemon face of hers.

Sam...physical. Is there more? Code: nothing there but the physical. Similar to her old boyfriends.
Jeremy...same humour. Is there more? Code: no chemistry. Feels very herself with him.
Marcus...also holding back. Makes her nervous and hold back herself.

Wants to be confident in who she gives out roses to. Three are going home.

It seems like something is off with Marcus.. To me it seems forced!JMO

A new city. A new hotel. Another forced conversation between the guys about Jenn and HT's.

Marcus gets the single date and is nervous about opening up.

They meet up with Kelsey and Daisy and are to follow the yellow brick road they set up with challenges were they to pick between two options. They have to be honest with one another and decide together. Challenges are stupid until fast vs. slow. He is slow (to open up) and she finds this concerning. They meet up with Charity again and are to pop some balloons where they have to answer questions and get some letters, photos from home.

Last stop is with Trista and a hot air balloon. Lots of making out.

Evening portion of the date is in the baseball stadium. She is scared that she is further along than he is. He is getting very emotional telling her about his family. His parents took him and his sister to daycare one day and never came back. They ended up in the foster system and made him think there was something wrong with him. He is tearing up and she now understands him better. He wants a love that will stay no matter what. She thinks that they are very similar and look at love in a similar way, naturally, after that he gets the rose and she thinks this is the love story she has been waiting for. Cue the fireworks.

Next date is at radio station with Molly and Jason Mesnick.

She tells Molly that Sam is the one she is most physically into, but has doubts because something seems to be missing.

Devin feels he is in his comfort zone talking, but thinks Sam will be in trouble when he gets put on the spot and has to answer honestly and turns out he isn't wrong. Sam has trouble thinking on his feet. When asked to describe Jenn it is all physical, surface level stuff and a word salad. I had a hard time trying to figure what he is saying and Jenn doesn't look too impressed either. Same with the other guys. Jenn doesn't think his answers are authentic.

The radio guys decide that the person who needs the most time with Jenn is Sam and the other guys are asked to step out and can watch from another room. She asks him what was his first impression of her and how has that changed and all he talks about is himself. When he first saw her he thought she wasn't his type and that Daisy or Maria were going to be the Bette. The man cannot read a room. The hosts are shocked, as are the other guys. Sam is dumb as bricks. He is just digging his own grave. The other guys are totally confused and she is frustrated. She is not feeling secure or reassured in this relationship. He says his love language is physical touch and he grabs her to make out. Not quite working out the way it did previously.

Jenn is really asking the tough questions and Sam is not really answering anything.

Loving it!

DAMMM .. sure doesn’t seem like the truth of Sam’s need to leave cuz of his sisters weddings going to come out!!!  DAMM DAMM

Jenn is questioning everyone, but when she comes to Devin he tells her he always told his mom he would only bring home a girl he was proud to meet her and Jenn certainly is. She then tells him...where the other guys told her...that she remembers he told her he was falling for her and she wants him to know she feels the same. She feels seen by him and just has a silly grin on her face. I also notice, there is not a speck of lipstick on her, even though they only show them hugging. Plus, the romantic music is playing softly in the background.

Ding, ding, ding.

Jenn has more questions for Sam during the evening portion of the date and all we get is more garbage. I want to know if he always talks like this or only if he is confronted. He ticks her off so much she doesn't give out a GD rose. She is still stuck on the fact that they had this great chemistry from the start and she saw them together, even though her head is waving red flags all over the place.

Jeremy gets the other single date at the fish market that we visited during Sean's HTD with Catherine. Good times. He makes her a bouquet. They both feel that others are further ahead in their relationship. If Sam hadn't been such a jerk, I doubt Jeremy would have made HTDs. They too go to the gum wall and toss fish. He does seem like a nice guy, but I don't see it between them.

They go to the Chihuly Garden in Glass. I love it. Now I want to go. I went to the exhibit he had in Toronto in 2016. It was amazing. All my own photos.

They discuss his Jewish religion and her Buddhism and discussing how to blend the two. They discuss kids and family. They get along well, but I still don't see the chemistry. He gets the rose and they make out.

Jenn is getting ready for the RC and looks pretty. She needs to make a decision about Sam. She is still looking for an excuse to keep him. D*mn that chemistry must have been strong.

Jenn is storming through the guys hotel apartment looking for Sam who is conveniently chatting with a producer and a cameraman. He brings up falling in love again and she isn't buying it. She asks again what he sees in her. He isn't hearing her. He just keeps repeating the same gibberish. She isn't buying it. He never asks her about anything. She still says she is confused. I really don't know why. He never answers her questions, he gives her these fake answers because he thinks that is what she wants. Just kick him to the curb girl!!!
