Bachelor 27 - Zach Shallcross - F1 - F6 - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

I was enjoying the unknown but just because it kept sleuthing fun.  

I’m still curious that Kaity had the second FSD. And if it was at Banyan Tree, while I was there, I’ll have to eat my hat!!

Also curious what went down with Gabi. Think it’s still possible that she self eliminates at the end. Otherwise, hard to believe that she and Kaity can be so friendly.

@luvstx My impression of Gabi is she is relatively inexperienced with love. She may have had a bolt of clarity and not wanted to get engaged at the end - even if she was being considered as Zach's F1. Remember he said in the previews that he really fell for 2 women and had to decide who was really his best friend. Gabi holding back on the kissing may have given Zach some clarity as he wants both a best friend and a strong romantic partner.

Zach has delightedly surprised me as I thought he'd be a bit more straight-laced than he is! I like that he lets loose with a F and W word occasionally as it makes him more real to me. But, I'm still glad he decided on a no-sex strategy for the FS dates. They create such a hurdle for starting a solid relationship. I wish more leads would take this approach. (Even if he did slip and do the deed with one of the women!)

I am SO BUMMED that this season has been spoiled but am grateful we got this far without knowing who is F1.

@Norcalgal this may be what happened. Hope if it did, that Kaity doesn’t feel like she’s Zach’s back up choice. May also explain why TPTB chose to so blatantly show the love connection between Zach and Kaity. Maybe they felt she might need to watch that back.

don't think gabriella self eliminates. the midseason trailer shows zach sobbing at the frc - looks like very classic bachelor after letting the f2 go. whenever there's been a self elimination they've always teased it but everything about zach's season suggests it's very traditional and straightforward.

imo it was always kaitlyn, their connection is so far ahead of everyone else. i think gabriella is just a regular f2 who's over what happened in november and is able to be friends with kaitlyn again. all jmo.

I think the lead pretty much knows right out the gate "at least by 3rd episode" who they are most attracted to , the rest of the show is geared by TPTB to create the show that they want viewers to see. In Zacks case I think he picked Kaity out of the group on the first night and requested the overnight with her early on. jmo

I just found the above picture, climbing into the boat and see that it was already here. Someone must have been at the resort with a long lens. Didn't we also get a picture of Ben and Courtney's season?
I'm a bit disappointed because Gabi was so cute, but I haven't really been that invested. So hope it works out for them.

I like both f2 but admit to being shocked that f1 is Kaity. One of the reasons I was sure Gabi was f1 was Kaitys sm. Maybe I’m reading too much into this ?? Younger people have different boundaries etc. You b the judge : Kaity follows Tyler Cameron imo started early aug 22 but no proof. Nothing usual about that. She Liked posts on Aug 9(first) 23,29 sep 2,23. Zach announced 21sep filming commenced sep26. Filming ended Nov 23. Kaity liked TC posts dec8,20 and feb 10,14,17. Maybe I expect too much but out of respect to your partner wouldnt u want to refrain from liking these post once filming stopped and you are ‘engaged ‘? TC doesnt follow her so assume they don’t know each other. I understand f1 liking male idols but imo TC being BN most popular male contestant doesn’t seem respectful. This May b controversial but imo if a male f1 was liking a single v popular female former contestant that neither the lead or f1 knew there would be questions raised as to why ?

@Loulou Great post and great sleuthing. I totally agree with you and now for some reason, my opinion of Kaity has been downgraded a notch.

Each to their own but it doesn't bother me. I've been married for 37 years and I follow guys and like some of their posts. It doesn't appear that she followed Tyler post-show but before she left for filming. I think it's different for young people on SM these days. They friend a lot more people than I would (Kaity is following over 700 on Instagram).

Multiple times I tell groups of people right in front of my dear hubby of almost 29 years that I enjoy looking and being with cute young men! I will also tell him that I think xxx is so cute.
He knows I am Look Only and No Touch

I think as both of them have a mutual understanding/agreement, it’s all right.

@Loulou Thanks for your analysis. We also have to remember the F2 often don't control their SM until the last episode airs. Could be a producer telling her to like the Tyler Cameron posts to throw us off. But Tyler is pretty cute so I can understand her doing on her own, too!

Boy.. when the guys did the same the last couple of seasons .. especially the Gabby/Rachel guys .. they got slammed for it!!  So what’s the difference??
