I watched eps 2-4 with headphones on, and oh boy does that make the frankenbiting obvious

ETA:  OK I'm caught up with eps 2 and 3.  Didn't find them too bad so thanks everyone for lowering my expectations

Jay gives me the creeps for some reason but I notice the show IG followed him first from the boys and Sally first from the girls so I could believe they're the "winning" couple.  @leavers does this mean you will be eating your keyboard  

Didn't someone say there were two couples?  Paddy was the second contestant followed and seems to be getting a lot of airtime so I could see him being another finalist, but not sure I see him with Tyler; perhaps someone who comes in later.

I am enjoying the show. Maybe because it is somewhat different from the other dating shows I watch...Batchelor related stuff.

Maybe because I expect it all to be fake, I don't find it that bad. I am looking forward to seeing what happens.

Damn! I'm going to have to aren't I! Maybe I'll say I'll eat it if they last more than 3 months beyond the final episode

@leavers Don't worry I fully expected them to flame out too!  Maybe because we're used to Bachelor hiding chemistry between the "winners" or maybe because it's just WAY TOO MUCH too soon, IMO.  

@Sprite Yeah I'm not minding it either.  Some diversity in the casting, and the overseas locations are pretty.  Definitely one big ad for the cruise company but at least no random product placements

Watching ep 5 and am baffled why all the boys are ga-ga over Chelsea?

She seems exceedingly average to me and prone to whining and self-indulgence.  Is it just because she's skinny and blonde? What am I missing here?

ETA:  Someone call the cops.  This sleeveless chambray shirt is a CRIME.

@Sprite I think it must be three? I haven't seen it live once so not entirely sure. How many are they airing per week of the US version?

I really like Paddy. He seems like a genuine guy and very enthusiastic about the things he loves. I would enjoy hanging out with him.

The US version is only once a week. I just don't find their contestants as engaging. The whole tone of their show is serious and heavy handed, but it comes across as more fake to me. It is missing the light and fun aspect that I get from the AU version. Maybe because they get money at the end?
