You are right. When we left the Sofitel around 9 pm we just saw a producers van and a lighting van. Didn’t see production signs at any of the Tubkaek Beach resorts on the way home but if they were at the Ritz Carlton, I don’t think we would have see; signs of them.

Still thinking they could film FSD #3 at our resort on Monday after we’ve left…

I have a hunch that the MTP and LCDs will be in SEAsia given that Jesse’s wife is here with him. Just a guess.

You’re correct the last overnight date will film on Monday.

@GuardianAngel thanks for the encouragement , GA! Yes, we have been traveling throughout SE Asia for a month. Home on Friday.

Here’s what I can share from our conversation with Jesse Palmer and his wife at the Sofitel Krabi last night. Not all is relevant only to Zach’s season but I think you will all enjoy reading it.

In no particular order:

Jesse is super nice, incredibly gracious, humble, and smart. I broke the ice by saying something to the effect that we think he’s doing a great job as host. He genuinely seemed pleased and a bit surprised.

I told Jesse that I’d been watching the show since Season 2 including his own season. He seemed quite surprised. He offered that his wife had never seen his season. I said I understood that but could share two details that wouldn’t embarrass him. I mentioned that his was the only season where the F1 came out of the limo first, that his F2 apparently got physically ill before getting to the FRC and that he gave the F1 a plane ticket. Jesse seemed shocked that I knew those details. He said he meets a lot of fans but had never met someone who knew those little details. (I’m probably the OLDEST fan he’s ever met!). He then shared (did we know this??) that the reason his F2 Tara got sick was that she was actually engaged and was freaking out that he might propose!

Jesse wanted to be sure we knew that he was still a football analyst. Of course, he and hubby talked football. Jesse has worked for ESPN for 12 years. He does all of the taping at their headquarters in Bristol, CT. He goes up there (I didn’t say I knew they lived in Greenwich, CT…🤪) on Friday and comes home on Mondays. He acknowledged that TB was keeping him away from that gig for a couple of weeks. He also said that he is constantly watching films while traveling with TB to keep on top of the 103 college football teams. My hubby was impressed by his professionalism and told him so.

Jesse’s wife was sweet and soft spoken. She is from Brazil and spent quite a few years modeling in Asia (Bangkok, Seoul, Shanghai). She brightened when I mentioned that I had watched a clip of Gabby’s recent performance on DWTS. Emely said, “isn’t she fantastic?!?).

One important note: when we asked Jesse if he had a lot of downtime while they are filming this week, he said Yes. But he did say he could be called in at any minute. And then he said, “like it’s very possible that Zach will need me tonight”. We didn’t think that boded well for Kaitlyn

@luvstx That sounds like so much fun. I don't know that I would have the nerve to go speak to him. Thank you for the info and the pictures.

Tara was engaged? I don't think I ever knew that!

@luvstx I am wanting to ask so I don't get it wrong, but did he mean that Tara came on the show already engaged?  Or that she had previously been engaged so was sick about getting engaged again?

Glad I was right that we didn’t know that. I didn’t want to let on to Jesse that he was giving out scoop so I tried not to make too big of a deal of it.

Was just one of the many examples of how friendly he was.

Here’s another one I loved:

When referring to my knowledge of the show, Jesse said “I meet many fans…” and then immediately said “of the show”. Wanted to be clear he isn’t th attraction. Very humble IMO.

Yikes. Wonder if Jesse knew that while the show was being filmed or only found out about it after the fact? It kind of makes sense with how she really didn't want her and Jesse's interactions like kissing to be filmed.

A lot of this makes sense now. When I was watching that season and seeing Tara....I kept thinking what is she hiding? I just had that feeling that things weren't right as you never really saw her gushing or really into Jesse.

Now I want to know if she married him!
