IMO Katie said her piece but didn't make peace. And she should be criticized for that. Move on katie - what has happened is in the past!

I agree that making peace is the best option but some people don’t have the tools to do that quickly. One of many examples from BN, Nick and Kaitlyn were poking at each other for years until they finally agreed to be civil. If Katie’s very public venting was what she felt she needed to purge herself, despite it being a very bad look, then maybe that is the better route.
It IMO made for a downer of an ATFR.

It’s important to know that they watched the breakup and the finale right before going on stage in the taped ATFR. Imagine watching yourself being treated that way and then meeting the man who did it right after!
Katie said on the Chicks in the Office podcast that if it had been live, the time span and the debate that took place last week would have made her handle things differently.

It’s talked about in the Variety article as well, but what stands out to me is Blake’s comment on the breakup (at 2:05 in the video)

Moynes continues: “There was talking down and things. It’s hard because I try to put myself in that situation…that’s how I try to judge. And I wouldn’t have ever approached it that way, so, I just saw it as wrong.”

“I grew up in a household where that type of behavior was a constant for 17 years and I saw what that can do to my mom, in that case,” Moynes shares. “And so, it triggered me a little bit. It reminded me of a brutal past, to some degree…I hope that Katie knows that she’ll never have to hear that from me.”
