It's interesting, given how cold Matt was to Rachel at ATFR. Hopefully, they can either work things out or move on knowing they gave it a try.

I think he needs to give it a try and get closure if it doesn't work, especially since Rachel is willing, otherwise he will always wonder what if.

I find it odd -- there really is no need for them to continue to be friends. However, I don't think that if they were spending time/hanging out/dating that Matt would want that to be public knowledge especially right now. All JMO.

If they are hanging out in public, people would notice them. Matt should not worry about what people think, he should tell people to mind their own business. JMO

@Maggenzm I like your posts. Matt owes us nothing. He should be true to himself. I just hope he is not leading Rachael on.

@Norcalgal, ITA from what I have seeing, she really loves him and I think he loves her too. But is he going to be strong enough to stand up against the outside pressure? We shall see! Rooting for them!!

The post upthread by RS says they were in Williamsburg. I thought that was Virginia but I guess there is a Williamsburg in NYC. If he is really trying to figure things out, he must really like her jmo.

Yes, there is Williamsburg near downtown Brooklyn, NYC. I think after all the noise died down, he was able to reflect on his true feeling for her. Better address his feeling now than later. JMO

I think it's a bad move for both of them individually, but it's not like any Bach couples are ever going to listen to my opinion.

IMO it's not just that Rachael hurt Matt, I think he doesn't respect her. The "ick" look of his body language at ATFR was telling. I don't think you bounce back from that, or that you should even try to bounce back from that. Sure, under the circumstances Matt was entitled to feel however he wanted to feel. But if a former lover ever put me that far out in the cold, I would find another fire to keep me warm, not go begging for him to take me back. To me, that's just devaluing yourself.

But, not my journey.

How do you know he didn't reach out to her that same night to apologize or explain his behavior? There is a girl in Reddit who said that Matt and Rachel have been talking all this time. It looks like he is comfortable enough to take the relationship out, so more power to him.
Also, Matt has an IG story with a bunch of kids, this girl is listing activities plans with Matt " ...then, we are going to meet Matts friend" I think that's Rachel. He cares about her and wants to explore the relationship. I say, go For it Matt!!! The End!!!

@Amethyst ATFR was hard to watch but my take on it was Matt was so DONE with all things Bachelor, he wasn't going to give the show any satisfaction regarding his former or potential future relationship with Racheal. So whatever they do, it's up to them - no impact on me whatsoever!
