I think this is likely what happens. I have thought this entire time that Peter's mother was talking about Madi because I truly do not believe that we've seen a love story between Peter and HA. But if it's about HA then I'd guess HA is going to say exactly the words that she knows Barb wants to hear on the MTD, down to crying and professing her love for Peter and saying with 100% certainty that she wants to get engaged.

If that's the case, I think we are going to see Madi tell Peter on their LCD that maybe HA is further along with him (no doubt something production also told her) and that she thinks it's best that she should leave. I think Peter has truly been in love with Madi for a while now, and that's the only love story I've seen this season. IMO Peter's frontrunner was Madi for most of the season, and his Mother saying she wants him to be with HA then just added a whole new layer to his confusion. This is probably why he doesn't end things with HA immediately after leaving Australia, still thinking that maybe his parents are right. But once he's back in the US and has a chance to talk to Madi (without the control of production) he realizes where his heart actually is, and it's with Madi. I do think his emphasis on him "following his heart" is meaningful. I guess we'll see if that's the case soon. All JMO.

Because she's still hurt by what he did. They both are. I think Madi just needs more time.

The hiking the building part of the 1on1 went well too... it was the evening part that went south. I think activities are always fine but when it is time to discuss, then it turns sour. I believe this is a repeat of the 1on1. I believe Madi told him she couldn’t accept an engagement, couldn’t bypass aka forgive he was intimate and told him she couldn’t accept his rose if he offered her... maybe she decided to leave before FRC. I see à shocked Peter. I see a defeated Peter that couldn’t erase the past. I believe it was her finale goodbyes in Australia.... carefully organized and authorized by prods.... and she told him she loves him... selfishly. This is why IMO Peter was hearbroken. Too little too late about her ILY.

When CH announced Peter “we just find out” pack of crapola, it was very sunny. So my take it was the F2 portion. For me it makes sense that he was going to reject HA. Prods didn’t want a nobody lead ending but planned this carefully to have a “to be continued “ IMO. After all, prods are now pros about it... arie... Hannah b... I do not think it bothered them much to have extra drama eh?

I am not sure why CH dislikes Madison so much but my opinion is that she was not the puppet they wanted her to be during and after the show.

For me HA is a non issue. I felt she played a role to the dot. Crying, sweet doll, sexy hot (hand on glass transparent door), victim at RC casting for next bachelorette a la Becca... she never felt in love to him to me.

The last 2 weeks SM Madison activities makes me think she is dating Peter. But Peter on the other hand doesn’t look over the top happy. Is it possible madi met her strong faithful leader along the way? Just a thought...

He is the one that is looking away not at Madi.  If he was breaking up with her, it would be the other way around.

Agreed with this. I think Madi leaves on her own. Peter has also said he “follows his heart up until the very last second” which says to me that he eventually follows his heart and chases after Madi despite whatever his families opinion may be.

I agree with this. I remember Peter made a comment after someone said in an interview that it looks like his mom is crying about Madi. Peter said something like his mom doesn’t always know best or something along those lines. Maybe she is crying about Hanna Ann but Peter followed his heart to Madi. Now of course his parents are prob on board and just want their son to be happy.

Some people have a hard time expressing their emotions especially on camera. I think Hannah Ann may be one of those people. There's a lot going on that we as viewers don't see. Hopefully we'll get more clarity during the finale JMO

HA had a IG story with her dad saying tonight they are having a big party for her last night there !

In reference to who Barbara is saying the now infamous line “ bring her back home...” I’ve also thought it would be Madison but if it is another one who would be surprising...Hannah B is apparently getting a BIG vibe in BN circles... which I’m convinced is out of the realm of possibility but from the angle of the ‘ public’ maybe valid?
Now IF the MTP went so well with Hannah A. that they saw her more ‘ perfectly ‘ fitting their family, that’s where Peters line “ my mom doesn’t always know what’s best for me” ....would really make sense. She does have everything that he says he wants...but his heart is somewhere else IMO.
It would also make it a very difficult week for him to go against his family AND possibly production’s wishes.

I notice how quick he added DJ, afters sport coach... And how his first thought this morning was his trip this Saturday... little details. JMO

I don’t know who Peter’s mom is talking about but I think it is being overhyped by the show. The preview makes it seem like the conversation takes place after the FRC.  However, she is just stating who she prefers.  Just my opinion, his mother is being too dramatic.

However, I do think Madi leaves before the FRC and not LCD.  Why would Peter be standing at the FRC site smiling if he knew Madi had left?  Guessing that smile is before Chris tells him Madi left.  I just hope that, if Peter tried to cancel the ceremony, Hannah Ann would reject him saying she deserves to be chosen.  If this happened, he could then be risking leaving with nobody unless Madi takes him back.  I agree with those saying the producers got in Madi’s head.  And, if Chris doesn’t like Madi, that’s also a win for her because she refused to be a puppet.  I’m sure the show wanted an engagement after Hannah B’s season.  Also, for Madi to fly back, she would need help.  It’s not like she could just pack up, book a flight and say goodbye. The producer manipulation has always been a factor but, in my opinion, it has been really too obvious this season.
