Originally from Tauranga, but now living in Hamilton our “foodie” Aaron is hoping that our Bachelorette could be the love of his life!

He’s hoping he’ll make it to hometown visits, so he can show our leading lady the perfect date – a walk on the beach, followed by a nice little lunch and then watch the sun go down. Something nice and simple, just for two (and the film crew).

Why did you apply for The Bachelorette New Zealand?

I was getting tagged in the memes all the time, getting told I should apply – so it was probably a bit of peer pressure. But then I thought it would be a cool opportunity as well.

Have you watched much of the franchise before?

I have. I’m a bit of a romantic, so it’s always cool to watch other people do that. Always in it for love.

Tell us about your dating history:

I’ve got two ex-girlfriends, and one girl that was on the scene a shorter time, but she impacted me pretty well. My longest relationship is just over a year and I’ve been single for about a year now. I’m sick of the dating scene at this point.

Who’s your celebrity crush?

Kate Hudson.

Fun fact:

I worked in America for three years on a summer camp. I was in North Carolina. I would go over every summer, so I didn’t have a winter for four and a half years.

Knowing the way TPTB works, I don't think F1 would be in the first lot so I'm thinking Jonathan for F2 and Aaron as a potential funny fan favourite - they seem to be foregrounding both of those guys at this stage.

Not F1 though IMO because at this stage he's my favourite, and my favourites never win.

I said this on another thread somewhere but I get the impression Aaron signed up for the show for a laugh/adventure and ended up genuinely falling for Lesina and being way more invested than he anticipated.  Dammit, this could be hard to watch.

Honestly, Aaron's intro seemed so much better to me.  

She definitely found him attractive (and said so multiple times).  She also said she wanted someone like her Dad - a school principal - and Aaron's a teacher, so come on!  But he seems to be featured in the promo way too much to be F1, and isn't acting like one post-show IMO.

I really like Aaron. He’d be my pick for sure! After watching his first date with Lesina in episode 2 she definitely likes him too! They have great chemistry and he’s so lovely and endearing how shy he is around her. He really likes her. I think they’d be a great match and compatible longterm even though he’s a bit younger (Lesina 32 versus his 27). But definitely my pick for next Bachelor if he isn’t F1

Okay I’m going back to these stats because I am not ruling out Aaron for F1 after seeing the first two episodes and the season Screencaps which he is in with another date for sure.

The men following Aaron first is a sign he could be F1. Definitely goes far based on what has been sleuthed of him. Him being private could be seen as him playing by the rules and not public so far. His social media he’s been excited about the show. He did call Lesina Dr Lesina and if he’d find love with her. He likes all her posts on the Bette NZ. So he seems happy. Also had a big premiere night watch party with his family. They filmed his reaction to things. It was adorable and he looked happy!!!!

For the IG post the Bette NZ posted quoting Aaron and finding true love.  I noticed that the show deleted the IG post of Aaron and his quote! Why do that unless they saw what you posted [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and maybe giving too much away? They used the same thing about finding true love for Lesina’s preview before the season started.

Silversmiths! Could be because he has a date that involves jewelry or something? Maybe final FRChe gives her jewelry! It has to mean something that they’re both only the ones followed by the company.

Adding on from Episode 1: Aaron received the first rose at the rose ceremony. So definitely a frontrunner in Lesina’s mind imo.

So I will keep looking for clues and not rule Aaron out just yet.
