Bachelor 24 - Peter Weber - General Discussion - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

Now it makes more sense as to why Peter was acting 'single' to people during the Super Bowl.  It had to have happened before then.

IMO he was acting "single" long before Super Bowl weekend... like the month of December.

Well they opened the season saying they didn't know how it ended and that was early January. So whatever happened I think it happened in early December right after they got back.

Yes, I also think that Peter very soon regretted his decision where he realized he had been ‘ strong-armed’ by parents and producers to have that Darn engagement at all cost. I’m thinking he broke it off with HA in November, early after his return as we can see the scar he has is not vastly different from the ones from the FRC. To be determined : when he privately contacted Madison, IF he did before officially opening that to CH which was in December most likely.

I tend to think that Peter and Madi may have just talked/FT'd in the beginning with no actual meeting until after the beginning of the year. And, I think the sit down with Madi and CH was after they were already seeing each other but TPTB wanted something on video to document their "journey".

I remember him talking about not contacting Hannah B because he wanted to follow the rules. I think he may have learned from that and decided that he wasn't going to follow production's rules this time.

^^^^ I agree that Peter broke it off early and come tacted Madi. Imo there is no way Chris h would sit down with Madi if they didn’t have an idea of what she would say. They are not going to interview her and have her say no and then Peter is on stage left hanging.

If even Peter does not know how it ends, is he expecting Madi to give him an answer tonight?
Has he been trying to prove himself and tonight will see if she has forgiven all?

As I've been visiting the forum off and on today to read posts and posters thoughts I've been noticing and watching the countdown clock. (And many thanks for creating and posting this clock since it helps ground me in the reality of the situation.)

As I follow the countdown I've been thinking of how Peter, Hannah Ann and Madison must feel about watching the time run down as well. Relief that it's almost over? Resentment for TPTB in upsetting their lives waaaay beyond the level of past seasons? Happiness in (hopefully!) gaining some self-awareness? Trepidation for whatever tonight's episode my bring?

No matter the outcome I wish only the best for these 3 young people. They deserve happiness despite any "mistakes" or "short fallings" they may have made this season. And I hope this season has made them stronger and better able to face any future challenges that life may bring them.
