They asked to reshoot some FRC I think. I have DeAnna in mind but I may be wrong.

It could be that they decided, after trying the first set up, to shoot from a different angle. The background view for first one is pretty dismal looking.

They can go to some of the most gorgeous places on earth and find "the" dismal spot and junk it up to make it worse.  I also agree, the dress Cary showed had a lower neckline and looked more delicate.  While the dresses are both white with some decorative silver on them, the dress in this picture looks like a heavier, almost brocade fabric to me.  Also has the fish tail which I couldn't tell from the dress Cary showed.

ETA: Also, why is the end of the site in the photo sloped downhill? Could they not find even level ground? Why not get rid of some of the urns etc, and tighten the shot. I'm worrying now that Hannah in her heels will trip again on all the rocky terrain

I'll explain further...the trees are set further back in the first/top photo, and the trees in the bottom photo seem to be sitting right behind the stage (I don't know what else to call it). It may be the same area - the trees do look kinda the same - but imo the stage is set back further. Also the bottom photo seems to be at the edge of a hill/cliff/overlook, looking over the valley with hills in the background. It could be the same spot, just photographed from a different angle, but for me the stage was moved further back. Also I think that means that the photos were probably taken at two different times or days. The first one might have been a test shot.

I noticed this too. The ceremony site has been moved closer to the trees in one of the photos, unless it is just the angle of the camera. It's like they shifted everything.

I’m positive it’s the same dress. He said that they had to add several layers underneath because it was so shear. If you blow up photos of both dresses, they match.

@HEA posted a s/cap the other day and I swear I saw waves in the background?

Do you know which one I mean? I was going to copy it and point out the water in the background and what looked like waves to me but got sidetracked.

It is IMO on to of a hill or mountain. We see the perspective and the sea with waves in the bottom imo

@HEA yes that's the one. It looks like waves in the far distance. So to me those other pics were taken closer or on a lower elevation since you can't see beyond the tree's and hills.

Interesting that they switched out the rug from the set up to the actual ceremony.  Guess it was too 'busy'.  

And I actually like the dress.

Yeah. Thank God they changed the rug out. That fixed everything.

The statue guy bottom left is looking out in the empty FRC pic, but he’s turned to look at her in the pic with Hannah. Yikes!!

ITA these are 2 TOTALLY different rugs. @Doats has pointed ut already.
The top one has a pattern with 6x 3 (18)  circular pinkish, orangey motifs
The bottom one has intricate design that is not in the same hues and also the border gives it out. Look at the end it’s white, ( the fringes ) a reddish than a dark colored frame ,,,which the one on top doesn’t have. They test different ones to see what looks best and then make their final choice.

I wish I could close up and circle the elements but can’t right now.

Sorry to use this but it’s the closest S/C here... Basically, to me it’s obvious that it’s the SAME area... they just pushed the whole podium CLOSER to the trees and it changes the background accordingly. The view with the hills gets changed as well but if you look, these are the SAME trees that were seen from farther in the other shot.
So different rug, pushed back podium near the trees, a little work on the urns, planters etc...same location.
