Tyler, you are only two years older.    

In those two years his dad got really sick, he moved home and took care of the family business, helped support his younger brothers, was responsible for signing away his dad’s healthcare rights.... sooooo....

Tyler is a really mature 26 year old, imo. On and off the show.

And yet he still has a way to go.  So many more life experiences he hasn't even had yet.  Jmo.  

Well ofc. I’m in my mid 30s and have learning to do. You can say that about anyone at any age.

I don’t think Tyler was saying he was finished maturing here. He was saying that Luke at 30 would probably handle this differently than he did at 24. Which is accurate. He’s also pointing out that he himself has grown from 24, even in like 2.5 years. It’s true you grow and learn a lot in your 20s.  For Tyler this was probably accelerated due to the issues he was dealt with that most 24-26 year olds don’t have to deal with. JMO.

Late 20's, imo or even 30's. I'm 45 and I have had so many more life experiences than Tyler who is 26.  It was just funny to hear him say he has grown so much in two years.  Marriage changes you.  Kids change you.  Health problems change you.  

I think sometimes actual age is arbitrary. Tyler at 26 having to deal with his father’s severe health problems, and also the kid who watched his family dislodged and torn apart because of the financial crash (and these are just two major events we know about front Tyler’s life) can definitely help mature and age a person beyond their years. I think many would agree Tyler comes across very well, and very beyond his years both on and off the show. Extremely mature for 26, and Mike Johnson recently reiterated that sentiment about Tyler as well. So I’m not entirely sure what you are arguing here. Of course Tyler will continue to age and gather life experience. It doesn’t negate the fact that he sees personal grown in himself since 24, or that he currently isn’t a mature individual in his own right.
